  2. Well as the nominations for COTY close tonight i thought id bring Thomas little Rolla back on screen for you all to check out. There isn't any thing else we can really wright about his little Rolla as this is one project car that i can say is pretty much finished ( I hope HAHA ) so i hope you look at his thread and see just how much work has gone into it. As i put in his nomination this was a home build father & son project fully funded by Thomas ( Other than all my labour HAHA ) through picking & packing money ( great effort son ) it is fully engineered with all the mods and is now driven daily also a big thanks to Stu and Cleveland for your nominations. Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad ) Hi there Cleveland i just wanted to add that i think your little beast will defiantly have to be in the nominations for next years COTY once it is finished it is looking great . Keep the good work up and how is the old-mans hand mending ?

Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad)
  5. Thanks Rian we will see how it goes this year . I think it is worthy as well after all the dramas with engine fires and motor builds i think most people would have given up but we stuck at it and it came back better than ever. Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad)
  6. Hi there Craig as everyone else has said and i got to agree this is the best build thread that i have seen on rollaclub yet ! Fantastic attention to detail and all the fabrication work ( 2nd to none) I have been following this from the start and check every night for your great photos and updates as it has given me a few ideas for my build ( PROJECT 25 ) that's all i can say about it at the moment i will let the build thread tell the story when we get it up and going. Anyway keep the great work up and i am really looking forward to seeing this finished. Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad)

  10. Hi there Leighroy ! i don't know about being motivated or just plain crazy 8/ but sometimes you just do what you have to do  . It now looks like we may have to find something a bit better in the clutch department as it is now slipping under load  we are already running the Exceedy sprorts tuff clutch which i thought would have been sufficient (Anyone have any suggestions ?) :hmm: . How did you get on with the brackets for your rear brakes? i hope they work out for you :2thumbs: . Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad) .

  17. Hi there Glen ! we were pretty happy with it :) but would have liked to have got a bit more out of it :( there is still a chance of getting more by moving the clip down one more notch on the carbys and putting more fuel down it throat but at the moment it is running real sweeeet  so we decided to leave it as it is :2thumbs: Are you still going to the Toyota Winterfest on Sunday as we will see you there ( weather permitting ) . Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad) .
  18. Above link is to DYNO run i hope you enjoy  . Hey guys so we were unable to produce any more Hp on the dyno today so she is still sitting at 110 rwhp- 130 ft/lbs @ 5500 rpm. In the video its ran up to 6500 rpm but was not showing anymore power gains after 5500. So for now I'm more then wrapped to just drive my car again after all the headaches it has caused. Another big thanks to Dad and also Stu for all the help and hard work
  19. Hi there all ! of for DYNO run in the morning so we will get a vid up for you all to enjoy :2thumbs: we are really hoping to get the magic figure of 120rwhp out of a carbed 5k engine  with just a little bit of work done to it :P . 21. Hi there everyone ! today i decided to check Thomas valve stem seals and replace them so i brought a overhead valve spring press made a fitting to put compressed air in the cylinders to stop the valves from dropping and then went to work on it and FAAAARK me dead if i didn't find that our engine builder had not put any FAAARKING valve stem seals on at all  ! not HAPPY  (will pay him a visit first thing Monday?????) any way all good now :2thumbs: and looking forward to coming back down to Melbourne in a couple of weeks for the TOYOTA Winter-fest and catch up with some of you guys & girls ;) this time with no smoke trail :rolla: so hope to see a few of you there  . 24. Although we are looking at putting it back on the dyno and giving it a good go (7000/7500 rpm) just to see what it can make as we are really hoping to get close to the 120 rwhp :rolla: as we are currently around 108 rwhp at 5500 rpm  . Cheers:- Stuart (Thomas dad)
  25. Ok guys here are some pics Dad has been onto me about putting up. Internet here runs at a snails pace so I have been a little slack on getting around to it.
