  1. Hi there Si thanks for the quick reply ! Very interested :2thumbs: if you could please PM me your Phone number so as I could give you a call as if you only knew how long it takes me ( THE OLT FART ) to type out these replies you would fall down laughing :lmao: Cheers :- Stuart
  2. Hi there everyone ! We hope you all have had a great Easter break and a safe one  from Thomas & myself . Well anyway as I've said many times before ! PROJECT CARS ARE THAY EVER REALLY FINISHED ? well it appears NOT :no2: as I've just finished replacing the 3rd K50 gearbox :bash: in Thomas little Rolla ! we have decided it is time to start VERSION No 3-4 or is it 5 ? LOL (not me :lolcry: ) lost count . So I have stripped down our donor shell ready to go on the rotisserie for the start of all the modifications needed . Bigger tunnel for W50 gearbox / rear end modifications for a bigger diff :) that hopefully should take care of the drive line .Now as I will be keeping the original body as a complete rolling spare I will be chasing a few KE11 panels if anyone can help out as we need a Boot lid - Front Valance / Stone guard and possibly a bonnet if so you can ring me ( Stuart ) on Mob 0428 574248 or home phone AH 03 50376 708 it would be much appreciated . As Justin the owner of PEACHES has set the bar VERRRYYYY high with his little Rolla making STREAT MACHINE :2thumbs: great stuff and well done ( Congrats again Justin ) . As I don't have to rush this one there will be quite a few body mods as we will be looking to make it a top end SHOW CAR and yes it will be ORANGE ;) . I will get Thomas to put up pics as we go as we know you all love pics  . Now as I have both W50 gearboxes Steel case / aluminium case we will also be looking for a K to W bell housing if anyone can help out ? Cheers :- Stuart  BLOODY PROJECT CARS :P HAHAHA LOL hear I go AGAIN.
  3. Hi Justin ! Bought the mag  what a great write up , something to be very proud of :) the little Rolla looks great :2thumbs: . My only complaint is :P as I've just finished replacing the 3rd K50 gear box in Thomas little Rolla :bash: we have decided to start version No 4 or is it 5 ? lost count LOL and you have set the BAR VERY HIGH :hmm: I've already stripped the new body shell ready to go on rotisserie for some major modifications - W50 gear box / Hilux diff just to start with ( that should take care of the drive line ;) ) and then make some major body mods !!!!!! wont say much more , I'll get Thomas to post up pics as we go . BLOODY PROJECT CARS :scarymovie: NEVER FINISHED :wtf: here I go again HA HA HA anyway once again "CONGRATS" on making it in to "STREET MACHINE" :2thumbs: Cheers:- Stuart
  4. Also "CONGRATS" Justan well deserved  and ill be out to buy the current issue of Street Machine to have a read , finally an issue with a true street machine in it  not over budget cars that can't really be driven on the street or a mag full of burn out cars :harhar: well done from both Thomas and myself :2thumbs: . Cheers:- Stuart
  5. Watched it on youtube  ! sounds great  , are there any vids from out side showing it shredding the Avons :rolla: ? Cheers:- Stuart
  6. Congrats on the silverware guys  great job and well deserved . I can't comment on the vid as it wont open up on my computer  so is there any chance of sending to my email ( [email protected] ) as I would really like to see the little beast in action :rocknroll: and it looks like you are wasting no time in getting it all sorted out ! Motor out and straight in to it great to see LOL been there and done that ! as has been said so many times before PROJECT CARS ARE THEY EVER REALLY FINISHED ????? short answer " NO " :P once again congrats guys. Cheers:- Stuart
  7. vids-vids-vids-vids LOL but get the message ! WE WANT VIDS ; anyway congrats on getting this little beast out on the pad and treating it with no respect :P as with all motor sport there are always teething problems to sort out :hmm: What head gasket were you running ? as we have found that it is well worth paying the extra and using genuine Toyota ones ( Thank to Stu Kickn5K ) good advise as usual :2thumbs: anyway all the best with sorting it out and look forward to seeing this little beast in action but in the mean time we all want VIDS-VIDS-VIDS :harhar: LOL and have a great day  . Cheers:- Stuart
  8. Hi Cleveland ! Well it looks like no COTY this year  which was a real shame as there has been some great builds and your little BEAST is one of them  . Anyway how are things looking for MOTORFEST ? any chance of a vid of the little BEAST running as I think I'm probably not the only one who wants to hear this thing fire up :rocknroll: and thread some tyres :P and don't worry about the neighbours they will get over it or maybe they will just move out :lmao: anyway I'm trying to talk my mate into bringing his little Hilux ute ( 302 Windsor ) down to MOTORFEST and catch up with you but if not have a great weekend and smash some tyres of the little BEAST and show the big boys how it done :2thumbs: and have FUN  . Cheers:- Stuart & Thomas  Go the little ROLLAS.
  9. Hi there everyone we haven't posted for a while ! Hope you all had a great Xmas and are having a great start to the new year . I've just got Thomas little Rolla back on the road after 3 weeks trying to find new front & rear shocks as the Pedders comfort gas had all let go and needed replacing ( Pedders no longer make for Ke10/11 ) so once again I called our good mate Stu ( Kickn5k) for help ! who put us on to an old thread by Felix ( thanks heaps mate ) so we ended up using the Ke30 part numbers from the Monroe shocker range 1970-75 Front- Monroe GT Gas p/t No 25-3810 with the 25mm spacer and Monroe Original on the rear p/t No 14-0304 which are the same as the Pedders that we removed . The only problem we have is we have to get the tops of the front struts machined in the lathe to fit our coil over tops & camber/caster tops to fit but it has all come together and is handling better than it ever has so once again thanks Stu and also a big thanks to Felix on a great thread on the Ke10/11 suspension it defiantly made the job a lot easier . Cheers:- Stuart.
  10. Hi here everyone ! haven't posted for a while but still on here nearly every night following some of the great builds ( FERAL 4K , STEERFAST RALLY , RALLY ROLLA ) just to mention a few . Cheers :- Stuart & Thomas
  12. Hi there Tore ! car is looking great  job well done , as we have done the bike carbie setup I would highly recommend hose clamps on the silicone hoses on the manifold as well as putting a brace from the carbie's back to the engine to remove any vibration out of them as they have a tendency to vibrate off. If you want to have a look at our set up check out ( TOMMYS Ke11 car the year 2013 ) and keep the great work up :2thumbs: Cheers :- Stuart. have a Merry Xmas @ Great New Year.
  13. Thanks Stu  I'll work out to do that one day :lmao: . Cheers:- Mate :2thumbs: ( Car of the year :hmm: Hard to find :P )
  14. if you have read of tommy's build it is not as hard as everyone seem to believe. yes custom manifold and depending on what carbs you get custom cable/linkages also ! we used Kawasaki 900 flat slide and they work great ! fairly worked 4k/5k combination and still returning around 36mpg "not bad " anyway good luck with your build. Cheers :- Stuart
  15. As others have said ! THANK YOU CRAIG  so much for not only sharing this build with us but also taking us down to the shed each night with you ! it has been a great experience that I have enjoyed following and hope that I might get to see it in action one day. I hope it goes as well as it looks :2thumbs: and look forward to some action shots / video footage of it doing what its built for " GOING HARD " all the best and look forward to the next build. CHEERS:- Stuart  :y:
  16. Looking "FANTASTIC" Tore  ! It has come a long way from your first post of the little Rolla , it is a real credit to you and the amount of work that you have put in to it to getting it to look as great as it is  love the paint scheme( looks fast sitting still ) LOL! Keep the great work up and keep the photos coming :2thumbs: . Cheers:- Stuart
  17. Looking real sweat but TUFF there Cleveland! :rocknroll: I hope it goes as well as it looks , a job very well done  and now you have made it very hard who to choose for COTY  as there is now 2 really big contenders at the moment :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: Cheers:- Stuart
  18. Looking sweat Craig  any chance of a dyno run video ? just to tease us with . I really hope this little Rolla goes as hard as it looks I will keep following with interest  . Cheers:- Stuart
  19. Hi Craig ! haven't commented for a while , had a bit of a holiday ( couple weeks in hospital ; great LOL ) any way it all looks to be coming together and looks great. I have to agree ! go with the Boyd compliment as you don't have enough flat screens to qualify for 'pimp my ride' LOL keep the great work up and yes it is defiantly a contender for COTY :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: Cheers:- Stuart
  20. Hi Craig ! just a free " BUMP" to get you back at the top where this build belongs :2thumbs: Cheer:-Stuart
  21. Wow, Wow and bloody Wow ! what else can I say other than I've got to agree with Bret " LOL" Craig  as this just keeps getting better and better with every update :2thumbs: . I feel like I've become a Rollaclub addict :P jumping on every night just to look at any updates you have done and you haven't been letting us down :no2: and have you any idea as to when you think you might have it finished and will you be doing any events down in VIC as I would really like to see this thing in action  .Cheers:- Stuart
  22. Hi Craig ! How could I be anything other than positive and supportive with such a great build thread  to read . As to my project ( project 25 ) it is still on hold as I've gone from one WB Holden ute to two WB Holden utes to restore with a possible 3rd one to follow as well as my mates Massey Ferguson 65 tractor to straighten up and paint for him along with my Dads camper van which needs a little attention :n: But it all helps pay the bills and lets me buy the parts for ( project 25 ) so when I do get started it hopefully will go along without to many hold ups" HAHA" as though that's gunner happen :no2: besides all that I'm to busy following your thread to start on e of my own :2thumbs: LOL . So as I keep saying keep the great work up and keep them updates coming  . Cheers:- Stuart
  23. Looking good Craig !
