  15. Just realized Thomas had posted about air conditioning for his little Rolla ! (good one HAHA fill in a bit more time :hammer: ) i might have a look at the factory air in the Charade in the shed and see if i can retro fit it in the donor car first :hmm: or go with Cleveland,s idea ( VW missile type on the window LOL :lmao: ) thanks for the suggestion Cleveland but not really what i had in mind and i don,t think Thomas would agree either and yeah it would be funky  . I will keep you all posted on any progress that i make. Quote :- ( Nothing is impossible just some things take a bit longer than others 8/ ) Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  16. Hi all just wondering if anyone knows if the KE10/11s came out with factory air conditioning and if so has anyone got one they may like to part with? :hail: as we would be very interested ! or has anyone fitted up one from another model?. Keen to here as it is getting BLOODY hot up here :bright: and might have to put the old man back to work LOL just when he thought he was finished ( there never really finished are they ) sorry dad .
  17. Thanks Stu ! but it was not all my intelligence alone :elvis: there was a lot of help from you  and reading a lot on what has been done before and trying things out for ourselves and luckily it has all worked out just great , and is performing well : :2thumbs: :so with the wright work on these little K motors you can get some pretty good figures out of them and have a lot of fun :rolls: :P :) . Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  18. Hi Ken thanks for the compliment but i wouldn't say awesome ! maybe a little bit crazy :elvis: but as i said in one of the earlier posts i just enjoy working on old cars and its great to see the finished build . Looking forward to next year with a couple of big ones for myself ! once i get the WB Holden ute that i,m doing for a client out of the shed . I will have to start a thread of my own just need the boys to try and teach the old man how to upload pics LOL i think i may have to call it PROJECT-25 be warned this will be different and no i,m not telling HAHA you will all have to wait and see. Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  19. Hi there Stu ! Yeh got to admit i felt like giving up a number of times but Thomas had put to much money in it to quit , so it just got better each time ( Version 1/2/3 or was it 4 ) HAHA LOL lost count . As for more cam and fuel :hmm: well as Thomas put it not until next year when he has finished uni and not traveling all the time ( And here i was thinking this thing was finished :P ) thanks mate he docent need the encouragement  . But anyway if it happens you will be the first to know  . But he will have to wait between PROJECT 25- my 57 inter pick up and now my youngest son is hinting on wanting to do a project car next year ( Little 69 corona i have hidden away in the corner of the shed ) so it could be a while ! Nothing better to do in my spare time :elvis: LOL. Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  20. No worry's Ken ! I recon this is defiantly going to be the tidiest 67ROLLA around  with out a doubt so as i said earlier keep the great work up and keep us all posted with pics as we all like PICS  . Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  21. Hi there Ken and Aaron thanks heaps for your great comments, and it really was the red grille badge that gave it the finishing touch LOL Ken ! thank you . And as i just put in your rides thread yours next year for sure COTY it is looking great :2thumbs: . Cheers;- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  22. Thomas 4k/5k combination makes 110rwhp and is real sweet to drive ! naturally aspirated  . A lot of money has been spent  but worth it  have a look at his rides thread ( TOMMYS- Ke11 ). Cheers :- Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  23. Hi there Ken just been looking over your thread again and your little ROLLA is looking real sweet and is going to make next years COTY a bloody hard choice with so many neat rides being built but we have a soft spot for the KE10s-11s so that will make our choice a lot easier and i think your little Rolla is the perfect example of the perfect restoration . How long before its all finished and on the road ? shame you live so far away as we would like to see it in the metal as it looks so good in the pic we can only imagine how much better it looks for real ! keep the great work up and thank you for voting for Thomas little Rolla if he makes the short list. Cheers: Stuart ( Thomas dad )
  24. A lot of these pics have been posted on my thread already but to give you a little taste of what you will find if you have time to look through the 22 pages here are some pics that show the process of getting my rolla to where it is today enjoy...
  25. Hi Craig ! yeah its a great little car to drive and we believe we could get a little bit more out of it with playing around with fuel&tune but it may sacrifice reliability which the son needs as this is his daily driver , surprisingly it still returns a pretty good mpg and yeah without sounding to modest we recon it looks fantastic as well and thanks for your great comments . Cheers:- Stuart ( Thomas dad ) PS:- I feel bad ! I think i have taken over Thomas Thread HAHA but he is working long hours and not home much sorry mate.
