  3. Forget this idea, and we'll try to forget you ask'd. But seriously if you have to ask these sorts of questions I'm going to guess you haven't done anything like this before. Your probably asking about the hardest and most pointless conversion to do. An RB20 has the same capacity as an sr20 and fits a hell of a lot better. An SR20 only just fits in a KE30 without firewall cutting, so an RB20 will take a lot of effort to go in. Anyways I think there's a guy on here that makes bolt in kits for an SR20 into KE30, you should hit him up and save yourself a lot of work ;)
  4. Braided Teflon line with speed flow fittings included in the kit
  5. I do a full pedal box kit for ke30 to ke55 for $275 on exchange for your old pedal box
  6. 4age would be the easiest cost effective to end power result. I wouldn't waste my time with a 3t efi, its 30 year old technology, sohc and pushrods. Anything thats a straight 6 cyl would also be a waste of time if your not going turbo, all that weight over the front wheel's will destroy the handling characteristics when you could achieve the same power to weight ratio with a 4cyl. My advice for a decent n/a cost effective swap, ca18de?
  7. $200 for a full kit, block mounts, rubber mounts and a gearbox crossmember. Full bolt in kit
  8. I sell mounting kits for 4age into ke55 if your interested. Making a new shifter hole is required though, but that will be the least of your problems if your doing an entire conversion
  9. I sell conversion kits for ke20 through to ke70 to make the first step easier
  10. thanks for the reply's guys, gave carlos a pm. Pretty keen on a gas mig to keep the spatter to a minimum
  11. Hi all, my mig welder has stopped working on me and its going to be atleast another week til i get my hands on a new one, is anyone nice enough to let me use there mig welder for about 20 mins or so to weld up some mounts this weekend? I can come to you and bring some tasty alcaholic beverage's or some tasty money? I am in deception bay QLD Any help appreciated Cheers
  12. You can just buy a mounting kit from me, I make mounts that bolt the 4a straight on to the ke70 crossmember. No need for AE71/AE86 crossmember or mounts. My kits are $200 for Block mounts, new rubber mounts and a gearbox crossmember. Pm me if keen
  13. waste of time putting a 4afe in it. Yeah there cheap but the amount of time and money to get it going you could have put someting else in there with a much better end result. Sooo many other engine options available. If its a rwd car, start with a rwd engine.
  14. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/forumdisplay.php/136-KE this guy seems to be pretty helpful engine mount and pedal box wise ;)
  15. yeah no worries. Its a link to KE conversions, in the sponsors section on AE86drivingclub.com.au Or just google KE conversions

  19. soon there's going to be ca18, sr20 3sge and rotory kits on ebay for all ke series corolla's ;)
  20. i do 4age to TA22 mounts. You can use your original t50 and crossmember, you just need to get a 4a > t50 bellhousing, new clutch and a 4age. PM me if interested
  21. looks good man, glad to see it all worked out ok. Another happy customer
  22. Well i can sell you with a mounting kit and hyraulic pedal box conversion kit. besides buying the engine and gearbox you will need engine and gearbox mounts hydraulic pedal box custom tailshaft or modify existing one (reccomened upgrade) three spare diffs or upgrade the diff to T or F series intercooler and pipework upgrade radiator (not neccesary but reccomended) custom wiring job for engine front brake upgrade pending if you go bigport or smallport rwd inlet manifold custom exhaust. That list is if you go about it from scratch. But from time to time most of these components come up from someone else's project that have already been set up for rwd corolla. To save money and time id hang out for bits to come up for sale.

  24. rusty old ke30 found, 4A >ke30/55 mounts coming soon
