Had a good Jamboree weekend, new record of 8.57 @ 156 on radials, and a new pb top mph of 164.5. Here is some incar footage
  2. I've already preppared some excuses - its to hot - i'm on radials - my car is a fat arse etc :y:
  3. Well it is kinda getting around now ;P Top car, i had a talk to the guy that built it at powercruise sydney one year, absolutely overrated car, good alround package really.

Cheers for the comments and i'm stoked with the car, checked it over today and everything is overrated. I am confident i can find another 150-200rwhp before jambo :hmm: going to shoot for 170mph on radial tyres lol

I think the flat top is to do with the convertor and wheelspin it breaks into lol

No sure about in NSW but there is one wholesaler up in QLD that supplies most of the retailers up here, i go direct through them.

Actually if i add it up properly i might get more of a shock  near 4k seems to get passed the misses ok, my cooling system alone contains 9 meters of -20 braid plus about 8 -20 ends some 90 degree ($149 each lol) aswell as speedflow -20 weld ons. Every line in the car even the vac lines are AN fittings and braid. The only rubber hose i have left is the manifold pressure line to the ecu :P don't have many pics of it all complete but there is -8 -10 and -20 braid front to back plus another -4 for the nitrous

As far as i know they are not cast or brazed like the cheaper fittings, material quality is much higher, finish and quality control much better. I also find the speedflow fittings @ hose easier to assemble. Speedflow is also made in australia.

lol OKE020 has near 4k in speedflow / redhorse and braided line, but man it makes it nice to work on. :P addictive stuff

Roughly 1/3rd to half the cost. Obviously there is a difference in quality, in my opinion was better than russel, and on par or slightly better than aeroquip.

Hey mate i run some speedflow and some redhorse, the guy i was getting them off has closed shop, not sure if someone else has taken over the distributorship. As for the ID plates and the boys in blue, i'll show them mine when they show me proof of it on the road, they wont be able to as i no longer risk driving it, hell i don't even bother driving a modified car at all, boost cruising f@$k tards have killed that for me. Its registered purely as i like to think of it as a 'streetable' car, in all honesty i believe it is, unfortunately the law and vote hungry government does not. I also plan to run it as a street car in off street events etc.

New pb, 22psi, convertor not working well at all at current power levels, needs more boost and some n20 vid here
  17. Hey mate, yeah i had an enlarged wastegate flap, even tried a seperate pipe and divider for the wastegate. My exhaust was 2.5" out of the turbo for an inch or so then taper up to 3". Still spiked (although less) but i think the large gate flap might of been pushing open easier due to more surface area, causing the boost to fall off even more as the revs increased. External gate off the manifold and it was spot on. If you can't get a gate on your manifold you could weld one off the exhaust housing.
  18. hemi_6 think we need some pics
  19. Thats cool, up in QLD when i start mine up i sware a light starts flashing down the local cop shop haha
  20. Ok tipsi = Rowan, had any luck finding a shell yet? if you want a 20 shell i still have that one sitting at home
  21. Holy shit man thats overrated!, what state can you get away with driving that on the road? i'm going to pack my shit up and move
  22. lol nah see i lost my index fingers in a fan belt incident so i lack the required digits to operate a camera :)
  23. I have a quad turbo 1gz v12 powered KE20, no pics though sorry.
  24. My highflow setup was overrated but only once i welded the internal gate shut, no matter what i did to it i never managed to get stable boost control. Once i had a 44mm tial on there spot on stable boost to redline with no drop off. KE20s are a 10 second car with a well setup car and a 13bt/highflow. Tipsi B&M line lock is designed to be in the front brake circuit, when activated it allows fluid to flow one way only so you can jump on the brakes and it will allow pressure against the front calipers and hold it there when you get off the pedal. Like many 13BT-KE20 wants to be able to flick a switch to disable the rear brakes, if you plumb it in the rear line using the In and Out specified then it will try and do what its designed to do, hold the brakes on. Switching it around and it just works like an on/off solenoide.
