  1. What engine are you starting with? big capacity/comp/revs required :P
  2. +1 on the weight, add anyone other than a jockey and you can get to 1000kg pretty easy
  3. What did you want to know?
  4. very nice indeed
  5. Lol nigel lee wah lol, stuffs me how they muckedhis name up, thats not his actual last name. Yep i was at his photo shoot for Hot4s in my green KE10, i did a skid when we left and broke and axle so we towed the 10 home with his 20 haha
  6. Combined with a new kid on way and a few credit cards getting out of hand / new side business etc, thinking about buying a 26 station wagon next, maybe an angry little blown 5k with a gilmer lol.
  7. Doh! this car is now sold :D
  8. lol that reminds me of "big bill's" (QLD) old KE30, he took the coils out of the front and had one leaf in the back i think, it was solid on bump stops anyway
  9. He he some cool pics in this thread, sure will have to get into circuit racing one day, here is some action shots of my crappers Ha ha calling out the boldger, pointing to the main straight :P KE10 through the dipper haha
  10. Hey mate when i used to run a highflow on my 13b the boost control issues became worse, finally got it sorted by welding up the internal gate flap and putting an external gate on the manifold so that might be something to look into. Shortly after that my 20 was into the 10s running 10.60s @ 125 :P had a jatco 3 speed in it, transbrake, was running 16psi with a 40 shot on the brake, pump fuel, i was thinking at the time that on race gas and 20 odd psi plus a little more giggle gas and 9s would be possible on a good run. My highflow had a bigger front comp housing etc so probably no ordinary highflow.
  11. I still have those 4 rims and hubbies for sale, they are not all that perfect though but look ok. The 14s on my ca ke20 are from a corona, i used to use ra40 rims but could not source a set this time around. these are RA40 slight difference
  12. Bolt in? wheres the fun in that :lolcry:
  13. My sister took a few pics of me and a mates ca18 KE20s, both cars may be for sale with a good offer. Here are some decent quality pics, files average 700kb so dial up death lol
  14. Ha ha i am 6'5" 103kg and am quite comfortable in KE20s, as said i was like donkey kong in a ke10, here is a pic to prove it haha
  15. This thing has a tidy body and a 9" in it yeah? you're probably not going to get enough for it to even cover finding another good shell + diff conversion, maybe an idea to sell the 265 to some MOPAR nut and rebuild a more sensible tunnel/firewall, then slot your choice of street legal engine in?
  16. Looking very trick

    My Ke20

Hey mate how tall are you tyres? do you have issues with the front grabbing the guards when corning over a bump?
  18. Tidy rig, also would like to see what the heat exchanger looks like under the dash
  19. Cheers for the comments, yeah its not perfect but its way more tidy than i thought it would turn out to be. Just been for another strap goes well although something funny is up its a little more all over the place than it should be, i had to wind the radius rods along way forward to clear the bloody tall front tyres, perhaps i have to look at the toe in somemore now. Had to brace the passenger engine mount to stop the exhaust hitting up on the floor so thats good now. The front tyres and low ride height are definately cause for concern, will have to look at putting in some bump stops before i do some damage to the front guards while turning over a bump. All i have to do now is work out the indicator issue tonight and she's a cruiser for work tomorrow :locked: Jono - 1uzfet one is still sitting there, need to finish our ca18det datto 1600 next then i'll get back on it. Also me and a few mates have setup a performance workshop part time and have a few cars in already that are a fair bit of work so time will be somewhat limited now.
  20. Ok took this thing for a test drive, have a few little annoying issues i will fix during the week, still some sanding to go but backed it out and gave it a bath. Liking alot :locked:
  21. Ok after 3-4 nights on the creeper i think i have finished under this thing for a bit (lucky as if i had to wash ATF out of my hair once more i was going to kick the peace of sh#t into next week :| ). Turns out i had to pull the valvebody out of the gearbox again as the internal shifter mechanism had cracked, once i got it all welded up and back together i found the shifter linkage was now 1" to short, looks like when the conversion was originally done something was a miss :D lol Last night i made a new rear section for the 3" mandrel exhaust now going under the diff instead of over to suit the new ride height, The wiring i think is all done, up on the stands it seems to go through gears ok but wont know until i take it for a spin. Next few nights i need to prep/paint the front apron and a few other misc bits, then onto more sanding/buffing etc Pics to come.
  22. A few years ago it used to be easy to pick on the older generation v8 racer, now the they have turbos (haha whos sneezing now farkers) in their arsenol and 600+ cube engines it just got a hole lot more interesting. I used to get away with 360 odd rwhp in my ke20, that was usually enough to shut down all but the serious blown v8s, now i figure you're going to need twice to 3 times that amount haha and lots more rubber to put it down.
