So after my Skyline getting defected and it's slow transformation into something I'd want to drive ended. I decided I needed some new wheels. So, I went to look at a few BA's around the 8k mark and they were all pigs and the AU is butt ugly. I've always had a soft spot for the EF/EL's especially the XR. And when this came up at a caryard just down the road I almost creamed my pants. It's a EF Fairmont kitted up like a XR with all the XR goodies. With my first chance on the monday morning I took the car for a drive, had my bank loan approved within a couple of days and picked it up on the friday night. Since then it hasn't been all smooth sailing. My fuel pump relay failed and was replaced by the car yard. My neutral safety switch has gone spaz and will be getting replaced in the morning. But apart from that I am very very happy with the car. This is how it sits: I have a few mods I would like to do and many more pictures to capture to show how nice this car is.

Considering you're asking how much work is going to be involved I'm assuming you can't do it. The only engine conversion I've done is a RB20 into a VL. I have dreams of dropping my spare RB30 into a KE30 but it'll never happen. I'm sure when I find a shell it'll end up with a 5k or something similar in it.

I might bring my Fairmont on the next cruise.

This guy at work. He is the worst man in the world. He was telling us how he sat up some womans ass in his Rodeo because she kept touching the brakes and she was from Victoria. So eventually he nudged her. I called him an idiot and then he went and dobbed to the big boss. 1. We work in a tourist area....get used to slow drivers. 2. Imagine if that was his wife or daughter in that car. 3. On the road he was on there is atleast 4 overtaking area's.

I'm looking at running, 245/50 tyres on the rear of my 31 with 215's on the front. I have 17x7" Rims. I wanna know if 245/50 on 7" wide tyres would sit right or if I'd have any wall roll problems.

I do that to get a look at those pretty girly's walking down the road :jamie:. I'm a pervert in that way. I know what you mean. I've dated a few.

Just wondering how hard the conversion actually is? Do they bolt up to the CA20 gearbox? Trying to build a budjet drifter but don't know what direction to go in.

For me, it's the level headed people. You don't need 200+kw's, deep dish rims and to drift it like crazy to have a nice car (1 guess at what forum I'm talking about). Also, I no longer drive a Rolla (I do still love them) and I'm a traitor who drives a Nissan but people are still happy to help me here. And the majority of people manage to use the spellcheck or actually know simple english.
