Why would your brother buy a dog that bit you? If you knew any dog that bit someone for no reason why the hell would you buy it? If I found a way to live without money I would work at an animal shelter or train guide dogs or something. That would be like the best thing ever. I want to raise a guide dog puppy, you know how they live with people for a year and do basic training till they're old enough to do the guide dog training? That would be so good. I'd get one every year, so then I'd have a puppy forever :P They'd never grow old! Let's see you stand your ground in his place while he holds a rifle to your face. If there's a dog attacking your sheep your gonna shoot it. They're sheep is their income. They can't really afford to lose them.

I cry everytime I go to a pound/RSPCA etc. Does that count?

It has lots of loooooooong different names, there's 2 different tablets I have to take, they're for the thing I had the operation for ages ago and is now just as bad. :P And we went to the specialist and told her they made me sick and stuff and the only thing to reduce it was to take half a tablet, rather than both, but it still makes me feel awful. $150? We bought a kitten from the Animal Welfare league a couple years ago, he was barely even older than they are at the pet shop and he was $65, and puppies were $75. RSPCA is heaps more expensive, but whether they're better or not who knows? You're probably paying for that RSPCA Animal Rescue show :P EDIT: although, you spend more than $350 for a pup in a pet shop or from a breeder, and from the RSPCA they're usually vaccinated, microchipped, desexed etc aren't they? That would easily add up to a couple hundred dollars, if not more, so its not really allll that expensive.

Hmm... I don't think its jumpy normally, not that I've consciously noticed [although a lot of things that happen I just assume are either normal in an old car or the result of me driving badly and dismiss them instantly.] From what I've noticed its just what I said in my first post, but thanks for the help. :hmm:

Yeah I changed the points not to long ago but haven't checked the distributer cap or rotor button. I think I changed the leads about a year ago but I'm not completely sure, I'll check later. Thanks for that.

So it only seems to happen when I'm in heavy traffic and trying to keep up to speed with everyone and when I change to second But basically I change to second, put my foot down, nothing happens it makes a low whirring noise, apparently a bit of smoke comes out my exhaust and then it suddenly kicks in and i lurch forward, then continue on as normal. I've been told its a flat spot, but we put a carby kit through it when we first got it and had problems with it so why would it be broken again and what ca I do about it? Thank yous, Lexxi :hmm:

Hmmm that's no fun. WGMG is this is the most stressful school holidays I have ever had. I hate year 12. And now for the rest of the week I have to look after my mum coz she's coming out of hospital today. Grrrr... Like I need her incessant whinging. Her surgery was no worse than I had and I was bright and perky and doing everything the next day but knowing her she'll squeeze every bit of attention and slavery she can out of me. :P

No, I took the auto diff out and put in a manual one. From a completely stock, completely manual car. And the tyres are the right size. It was ok before I changed diff. It was a bit out but not hugely like it is now. Its not tyres or an auto diff, I know that much.

I have a Toyota sticker coz my car's a Toyota, and Transformers stickers coz its secretly a Transformer. And a TUK sticker coz they're the greatest shoes. And I have 2 pairs of them. And a Rollaclub sticker coz I'm a forum junkie. But they're all real. Unlike bread and milk. Suck if your car was made of bread and milk. Wouldn't last long in a summer thunderstorm. Heat AND water. Not good.

Alright so today we tried the whole speedo cable thing. We took out the old one, 22 spikes on it. Took the one out of the parts car, 22 spikes on it. We can't work out why the speedo would be out if it has 4K engine, gearbox and diff, and it has the correct cable [the parts car is a stock 4k manual ke55 so that would be all the right stuff for my engine etc] Soooooo, if the gearbox is from a 3k, would it make a difference? [the engine was originally 3k, its possible the previous owner changed to manual before he upgraded the engine and got it off a 3k] Would the gearbox be any different and could that effect the whole speedo cable --> speedo connection? EDIT: Ok, so someone deleted all the posts saying something about the speedo cable, I guess tomorrow I'll be under there lookin for the damn speedo gears. Hmph.

I really think people should stop having a go at Mystik, he's doing a pretty good job and trying to do the right thing and usually the people who do the right thing are those who get the most shit. In terms of what the SA section is action for, I think its a good thing to outline which would stop a lot of the arguments and shit going on, but I think there's also a lot that should be said for common sense. I assume you all have it, use it. Although because it seems not everyone has it [and yes I am known to go a little off-topic and nonsensical at times too] it would be a good idea to lay down some ground rules and have some clear guidence as to what's acceptable and what's not. My 2c.
