  1. haha nice. poles just happen to be in all the wrong places don't they?
  2. haha, i don't think you will need it. apparently they have upgraded their karts (now closer to 110kph on the straight) since the last time i was there, and extended the pit lane. now i will be able to connect 3 corners in continuos drift :D excellent... This will be soooo cool!.. if my knee is better. dislocated or not i think i will go regardless! haha
  3. happy birthday! wouldnt it be nice if you could follow up with a win at go-karting for a late birthday present haha. i think we should also form a drift train as a token of thumbs up :D ill give you a 3k cheap just cause its your birthday, what do you say?
  4. Although they are a VERY short wheelbase to drift with, there is one in D1 in japan. is very scary to drive apparently and can get 90 degree angles with ease.
  5. would sound the business though
  6. probbably many hours of trial and error getting each individual piece the rght angle and then welding them all up. it seems that it would be a fairly tight corner coming out of the block though.
  7. longer primaries are said to create a much louder and hornier note on 4ag engines, along with more power, especially the 16v motors.
  8. hmm... how about, drive sideways really fast and then drive really fast to darlington park for gokarting and yatala pies afterwards.
  9. Thamks for the replies guys, I think i will combine AE85's and Felix's method together, however staying away from the silicone gasket stuff. i think the propper rubber will last a bit longer and be a bit more effective
  10. correction, they are the shitsnizzle! =) yes, you would be kicking yourself now
  11. mmmmmmmmmm chicken......
  12. =) ok so its half an hour away... not that far.. haha. yup pies sound good, anyone who objects is not healthy :drinks: i will go now
  13. there you go NiteP]-[yRe i had to dogily paste it into the original pic...didnt save a psd file.
  14. if you want lunch before, there is a bunch of shops a few k's down the road from the track that has a cafe and a few bits and pieces. if you want it after, and you want to go for a cruise (assuming you want to go down to the coast, since you are basically there) maybe somewhere near the spit? (northern surfers paradise) just an idea.
  15. here is one that didnt need a photochop  : and while we are on photoshop: yakuza semi-pimpness: the official rollaclub century, complete with chrome sticker!
  16. Bummer. i must say teddy that you have done a great job of organising this event so far. i hope everything turns out well for your sake  anything decided on lunch yet? maybe start tossing a few ideas round? tom
  17. ok, thanks for that. i havent been able to get in contact with my usual source of information for everything corolla - lucky (andrew). what ever he doesnt know you could write on the back of a match box in all seriousness. i will investigate this method. anyone else know of some other methods? the more options the better i suppose :y:

  19. hello all, For those that don't know my name is tom. i have two KE50's which i am semi-rebuilding one of them. (3k from spare is for sale) Now a problem i have (I'm sure some other people have come across in their corolla endeavours) the tail light rubbers/gaskets are fairly perrished and ripped. Because of this i need to make up some new ones, i was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to do this besides that silicone gasket stuff which can get quite messy and look horrible if you don't do it propperly. I might also need to do this to the hatch hinges. Thanks in advance, Tom
  20. hahaha, good call. really good website you have there too. could come in handy :y:
  21. are you fitting a det or the atmo version? ooo this is my 69th post.....ha ha ha :y:

  23. Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone from this forum was planning on going to Bathhurst this year? Its on October 6th-9th. I am going on the 7th and 8th (saturday and sunday) so i will be driving down friday and back on monday. The last time i went was in 2001, so i thought its about time to go again. It is one of the Australian motorsport icons after all :y: :D Consensus?
  24. i can bring an extra mate if you would like to keep the higher numbers? xany/teddy - this is the guy which was asking you to 'rip it up' when you were leaving my place. tom
