I missed out barely on a KE15 Sprinter with minimal rust for $150. Had fresh 3k in it, original K motor on a stand, restored interior... missed it because I didn't get the money together and get back to him quick enough. Pissed off I missed it. Moral of the story: Too much for that car: another one will come along.

Decided to get stuck into my sedan today, as some might know it had a pranged front end, courtesy of a little old lady that pulled out in front of the previous owner. Tried to buff it out, but gave up and put some panels i was going to chuck away on it for the time being, so I could beat out the inners (behind the grill, what is the correct term for that?) to line up the guards/apron etc. Made sure the apron was red, because it would make me go faster :P, along with the 1/4 long racing stripe. I'm after a decent KE30 front bumper in Perth and wouldn't mind a decent front 1/4's, and a rust free bonnet. Anyway, here are some pictures. Yes, I am aware how dodgy this looks, btw. These panels aren't going to stay on the automobile. And what pisses me off even more, is the fact I can't find a before picture. Stupid me... but i'll take pics of the panels i took off, to show how much damage was done. Dan.

The one with the two smaller ones does make the car look wider, looks awesome. I like the KE55 square headlights though, for some reason.. I don't think anyone else does though.

That said, it would be preferable to flip a leaf or two or get them reset; it will make a safer more comfortable ride. Lowering blocks are dodgy. That said, once you've sorted out what the go is with them, let us know so I can put some on the sedan :P. They are advertised on Burnin Customs for between $40-$80 for a kit including extended U bolts etc. They range between 1" and 4". Also, it is said on that page that they will reset springs for $300 :|. Not good news, to me anyway. Dan.

Yeah we are now running consistent 7.18's, bike has run 6's before... this weekend is the last time we race the bike, hoping for a six... we have a nitro harley here now which is 'guaranteed' to run a 6.4 consistently. The current bike is based on a kawasaki GPZ motor... It ran the first six second pass in Oz and also the first 200mph+ pass. Its old name was 'Party Time' some people may know of the bike. Ever gave any of them a shot man? I crew on a 7 second drag bike, and will soon be racing a KE55 coupe on the speedway. :). I like all motorsport. But some more than others :lolcry:.

We picked up a '96 AE101 (I think it was, however i thought it was an AE96) in absolute overrated condition, for five and a half grand, however it was advertised for $6,500. We looked for a little while to find this, we found that alot of these cars are about the age of blowing the rear mains, watch out for any oil in the engine bay... most of these cars have done alot of kays, and be careful, a f@$king lot of these cars were used as rental cars here in WA, particularly the sedans. Look at $5k and you'll probably end up with a reasonably good one with average kays. This was six months ago that we were looking, prices may have fallen slightly... and all you east coast boys, this might seem expensive or cheap, but its what we're paying over here. For your $4k you could probably pick up a nice AE92... we also bought one of these around the same time, snagged a minter for 3500, had to replace CV's and another suspension component though, ended up with the best of 3800 spent. By the way, if you ever want to flog off your beast, let us know :). Dan. EDIT: Also, i've heard of blokes picking up current shape corollas at the auctions for around 10k... word of mouth though.
