Over here, Sunnys were doing well (except for this darned Charade thats been at the top for the last couple of years), and they do better on the smaller and tighter tracks. I presume that over in Adelaide you have longer sweeping tracks... the tighter tracks here make the Sunnys coil rear beat the Corollas ghey leaves... But, they're too f@$king hard to find these days. So thats what opened my eyes to Corollas as I said before. Dan. Haha, sure man, my 1.2L carby POWAAAAAH will flog any car on the road!!!!

I got into corollas, because originally when I decided to start speedway, I wanted to race a Datsun Sunny (dattos seem to bogan cars :P), and had no respect for the lil Toyotas... six months down the track, I still hadnt found a Sunny for under $500, decided to go Corolla and within two weeks I had two of the f@$kers for under fiddy bucks!! Glad I made that decision, Corollas are little weapons of a car, and I'll tell you what... They look shitloads! better than the Datto... So I guess it was the availability of the cars that got me into it first, and then I was hooked on the cars. I now own three of them :P

Internet explorer mate, I got them off a website. For some reason, pictures I know are gifs or jpegs will always save as a bmp, and thats my only option... Only way I can change it is on a program called ACDsee, because it has a JPEG optimiser or some trippy shit like that... Dan.

No, we bought 14" motorcycle style (spoked) rims for a trike we were building, they had a simple 4 lug pattern. I would assume you could get the same sort of thing for 100 spokers, they work the same as a motorcycle wheel. I would assume... don't bet your last dollar on it though... Dan.

As was said with the vee dubs, XA-XB coupes all rust the f@$k out of there rear quarters, as the seals would leak, and water would go down into the quarter. Now some smart bugger decided that a great big lob of foam would be good to stop reverberation in the massive swooping panels, which worked quite well stopping noise, and also makes a great sponge. Moral of the story... f@$k it, I hear that you can get rubber shit these days, that would work quite well I would imagine.

I think that some of the members on here should stop being so damned close minded in respect to automotive technologies. Before I got into the little four cylinders for speedway, I was a diehard V8 nut. But having mates into the four cylinder technology opened my mind to all cars. I have not, in any way, converted to four cylinder cars. I would honestly prefer a big, boaty pushrod v8 as a daily driver. But my mind is now open... hell, I never suspected I'd ever have three four cylinder buzzboxes. Its opened my mind up, to technologically advanced four cylinders and six cylinders(not that the old k motors are technologically advanced), and non vintage cars :D. In reality, alot of you need to open your minds up. f@$k. Different cars/motors for different occasions. Dan.
