  1. And we are supposed to do what about it? Only thing I'm going to say is eBay D2 Corolla.
  2. Thank you for this info Bart. Really appreciate it mate. Will check them out tomorrow.
  3. Hey guys, my wagon has been rear ended, so I'm in the market for big plastic bumpers with the beaver panel and mounts and also a tailgate in good condition.
  4. f@$k a duck! :ninja: That is off chops dude.
  5. Dude...Are you serious? Contact the company
  6. Good effort lads. Love the colour choice Josh! I'm going the KE70 red for my KE30.... Plus gold stripes!!! What's the "picture" of what you want Ollie to look like when he's completed? I'm sure i'll see a great result guys. Good luck for the finale :)
  7. It's obviously not on your list of priorities.
  8. I'm doing a road legal 4AGE conversion in my KE30... I have spent over $4000 and still haven't got anywhere near all of the parts. So far I've only had the funding to collect bits to start the conversion, which I've been doing for about 1 and a half years (on apprentice wages). I DID a 5K conversion in my KE70... I spent $800 on a second hand engine, which was decently worked (about 65kw at the treads). It was my first conversion and I did it with the help of a friend who had also never done a conversion... It took us 1 day! To this day, my KE70 was the most enjoyable car I'd ever driven. If you want to keep asking questions that have been answered 10 times, you'll get a rep for being the next spoon fed moron. Act like the mechanic you claim to be as it seems you don't know a lot about cars at all!
  9. So when will the 20V go into the 70 Sloth? Who's doing the work for you?
  10. Haha, I think I was the most disorganised there Sam!!! Otherwise, it was a really good day guys! Glad to see some new faces too. Don't crash it Sloth! (yea I had to be that guy)
  11. If you're saying that the 3T-GTE was setup in a KE25, you may be able to use the crossmember from that to put in the KE10. The only issue you may have is clearance. Obviously you WILL have clearance issues with the gearbox tunnel, but you will more-than-likely have to do some fab work in the engine bay also. It should fit, but there is literally bees dick between the firewall and back of the head and also the water pump pulley and the radiator. I'm not sure who has done it, but there are a handful of members who have put a KE2x crossmember, steering and suspension into their KE1x series Corolla. You really have to fabricate the conversion yourself as it's not an off-the-shelf aftermarket bolt-in conversion.
  12. If Tommo's coming, tell him to bring the pedal box, if you could please Sam!
  13. Ok guys, The RollaClub Cotter Cruise is this weekend, so it's now a good time to start planning ahead for those who are coming along for the ride. As said previously, a small amount of food and refreshments will be provided, however it would be fantastic if everyone could bring along something to share! If I could also get a show of hands to see who is coming that would be great. Please give me a call, on 0424 240 649, if you're stuck or are having trouble finding the meet location. It will be great to meet up with everyone, once again, and introduce my Corolla with its awesome new wheels. See you all on the day!
  14. Don't distract me from my KE30 Project!!! My KE70 is just a daily :y: Looks fantastic mate. I'd be super happy with the work you've done if I were you.
  15. Come to Canberra. We (me at best) will show you how to eat a meal! That was shameful
  16. As far as I know, drifting doesn't really have any regulations to how you build your car. Meaning it's all up to the driver on how safe they'd like to make themselves feel. So.. Build a cage how you want.
  17. Amen. Everyone that is "new to this" needs to understand that these engines are designed in the 60's. They don't make aftermarket +hektyk kits for these engines. The best you can do is DIY. So if you're shit enough to not find anyone else that's done it, do it yourself.
  18. You can put in a KE20 crossmember and steering rack to make steering and selection of suspension parts easier. Don't know how to do it, but you can. There are a few members that would have done it so start looking.
  19. At least you're serious about your first car mate! Handsome looking KE25 at that too. Get a T-18 T50 box if they're cable (leaving the research up to you), otherwise a TA22 T50 will be fine. How "far" are you going with the T-series hybrid?
  20. Not good to hear, Sloth! The friends that told me were in fact there when you crashed. It was also the same corner which took my Red Car from me. The feeling you have after it happens is horrible, I know, but the best way to get over it is to get something you'll like even more.
  21. A little birdy told me that the Sprinter went ass over tit?
  22. I'm going to leave it at 20th of March sorry, J Riftin. Feel free to bring any friends that are interested. Some of my friends might be bringing along a TA22 Celica and R31 Silhouette with an RB20.
  23. If you want it road legal, add another $5000 minimum. That is if you get someone else to do the work. Nevertheless, it might still cost over $5000 to do the conversion yourself if you want it road legal. If you've never done an engine conversion before, I'd suggest a 5K. It's a really fun engine, when worked well, for a KE30 and won't set you back more than $2000. It really is something that just about ANYONE can do, and it will give you an idea of what's involved in a custom engine conversion. You can then focus the rest of your hard earned on making the car handle really well, which is something a lot of young drivers forget about when doing a conversion.
