  1. Haha ive changed my custom member title  Luke. yeah ive heard about those E58's. aparently they chew tires more than they should cause they have a torsion LSD rather than a clutch engage type. either way i want an LSD ;) Karl.
  2. lol yeah i can see your point but i need a hand controller for this boost controller and i am not getting one which will take away that temptation  and yes I'm using one to set it up.
  3. lol don't jinx me! I'm getting a boost controller as well so that should limit things.
  4. Ok after i got my car back together, guess what.......... It broke the next day! And so i found out my turbo is now stuffed! Ok after ALOT of deliberation i have decided to get a brand new ball bearing turbo called a Garrett GT2560R. Another nigling thing is that now after i had my new manifold made up i have to get it modified to fit the new turbo flange! Oh and also the dump pipe. So off to the workshop to get it all done within the next 2 weeks hopefully. Hmph don't you love it when cars break.
  5. my car wont be there but i might be taging along in a friends Pending work xmas drinks
  6. Baha lesley can't park  Literally $180 for a gasket not much longer and kinda pear shaped than 10ish cm
  7. HAHA! yeah nobody has used that engine in a conversion before.
  8. tehe photo explains all :)
  9. hehe yeah i know thats why i wasnt ramping and raving :)
  10. been there have had that TUME. WGMG: friggen idiots who stuff up my new manifold flanges so i can't drive my car till next week :-( plus i don't get to drive my car on my defensive driver course.
  11. ow but i like hills................ But i can go on my own hills run with a small group of people :S
  12. UPDATE! Manifold is off and being copied for a new steam pipe one :-) The crack as you can see goes right the way round :-( Heat wrapping :-)
  13. do your self a favour and get an AE86 fuel tank that is already EFI. They generally come with an EFI pump. Its a legal option and at least and one less thing the police can defect you for. :-)
  14. mmmmmmm cake :(
  15. WOOO! cracked Manifold, shitty toyota parts :(
  16. i vote on as many hills as possible maybe alternate routes same meet points to keep everyone happy. If people want to do a hills run then they can others can go the normal cruise route. Yet still meet at the same points if possible. My 2 cents.
  17. should be there or the other one dunno yet.
  18. Hes got a point they are renowned to be more well lets say "relaxed"
  19. Thats an absolute prick i was flabbergasted when i saw your KE20 on the last cruise. Its an all too common problem these days, i know police in the hills pick on p platers a lot just for the sake of defecting them. For example i noticed a getz (or maybe a lancer) something new that was a bog stocker came through work that had a canary for worn tyres. Having wheel arch flares shouldnt be a problem and raising the height of the car should be easy as a result of the flipped springs I'm assuming it is a regency defect. At least if you go through one time they tell you what needs to be fixed/changed and then you go through the second time and they can only check what they found wrong in your car the first time, so basically if you do everything they say to do then your car is back on the road. Also if you get your car back on the road you have a notice of roadworthiness from regency u can use to your advantage if ever pulled over again. Hope all goes well if need be give me a yell and il lend a helping hand if i can. Karl
  20. I'm IN!
  21. Yes but the thing is ours are turbo and they are only crap cause we have more residual heat (as a result of the turbo) and so therefore are more prone to cracking. Unless yours is the Sportivo then by all means use the other one! (of course if it looks better) Karl.
  22. Was a good cruise, the route was not near jetty road so we all did not get lost, and was a decent gap away from too much traffic to not get held up and possibly annoyed. I'm liking the Pics of mine and Lesley's cars ;) Thanks RA28GT and Gust. Karl.
  23. I'm in, i enjoyed the last one so will make an appearance again.
  24. Hey mate ive had one for about a month at the most, LOVE IT. people say that its a girls car (until you take them for a drive :D) but you get over that cause i love my car!!! baha lesley, this is the one we found then lost then found again. If i may say so the one at Jarvis is a little overpriced otherwise i would have snapped it up. I took it for a test drive (they prob hated me for it but owel) and was good. That one is nice although with the used car warranty is only valid if you take the car back to them for regular servicing and DO NOT MODIFY IT I drove mine back from Sydney and used 3 tanks of petrol over the whole trip (approx 1700km) now I'm back averaging 450km from $50 From a male P.O.V: Great car to surprise people with (had fun with a skyline the other day) -Handles great, extremely different to a rear wheel drive but mine atm actually oversteers more than understeers. - pretty much what lesley has said haha. But nonetheless i fell in love with my car first time i drove it  Thats what i would say to anyone buying a car. From info from previous owner TERMINAL the only prob with my car in the last 4 years was the ECU deciding to stuff itself and need replacing (cost of about $15000) luckily he had a second hand warranty. Best of luck.
  25. We had a mirror custom made :D I'm with 7shades, i like the gold one. Cheers for the shoot btw lelsey.
