haha very smooth...It's the parents I need to convince though, I'm a wee bit younger than most you people, I think. So I still still have to deal with them lol.
From everything I've read you don't have to engineer removing seats just register it as a 2 seater (If we're talking about corollas) but you have to get it engineered if you're replacing or adding seats. Could be wrong of course.
as far as I know it's perfectly legal to remove any interior (including carpet) as long as there are no sharp edges, protrusions or anything that has the potential to be dangerous. That's what I've been told when I've asked Vicroads. So you should be right with removing carpet. Double check with Vicroads, never take anything as the be all end all when working around Vicroads.....so sick of them lol.
D'oh sorry no I'm not. I meant I'm agreeing with him with this comment - drift, drags, burnouts, topless chicks, show and shine, would all this be happening at the bbq??
hehe. My bad
...wonder what restrictions canberra has for engine conversions? Will he get it registered do you reckon? From who I've asked it's pretty much impossible (Pretty much being the keywords, still possible) down here in Vic. Can't wait to see it!!!
thankyou for the semi colon explanation; it was spot on. How's that? wrong lol.
AH yes, I've done a similar thing to what you've explained, but I wasn't flaring my guards so to speak.
haha, how does a billion practices say. I like to practice before undertaking anything...probably a not so good thing as it wastes alot of time, but never mind. Yeah dollies are 'da bomb.' REALLY off topic question - who hear knows when you use a semi-colon?
Nick! Have a little faith dude. I just like using them on anything I can. Everyone always goes on about how hard it is to do it with a dolly but you can get really good results it's just about practice and patience as you've said. and LOL gotta love the off topics, I'm great at doing those hahaha.
yep, panel beating tool. They come in different shapes and sizes and have many purposes. Xany, what do you use your dollies for......

that's a nice set just so you can put a face to names :)
Hey
I'm excited because I bought myself a new set of dollies today and some more hammers. Sooooo, I was just wondering if anyone else has a set and would like to post any work that they've done with them? I'll post pics up of flaring my front guard inward and outward when I finish them.
Thanks
Troy
in regarding to that thread, don't want to dig up an old one. Demuire was saying about not spraying clear coat. I hope that's using 1 stage paint. If you were using bc/cc and only sprayed bc....is that what he means? And you CAN get acrylic to shine off the gun, personally I've found it's all in the brand. Paracryl is quite shiny off the gun imo as an example, where as cheapo 'home brand' non car paint acrylic is not. lol. :)
