  1. Hmm I have thought about this myself actually. But then I decided I could spend the time it would take to fab some up at work earning money, and then just buy some! Easier and less troublesome OR depending on your aplication you could possibly use dead sidedrafts? And mod these to suit. Plenty of manifolds out there for webers/dellortos Its kinda like the times where I think, yeah, I could give twin cam head casting a go! But why reinvent the wheel?
  2. Whoa, are you entered Tom? Or spectating? Yep should be free, sounds good! Me likey karting Cool looking froward to seeing the rotary Nah mang not entered, gonna aim for june 27th. Want to have sussy / brakes in before I hit the track. I am disappoint but yeah So, whats the plan for cutting that time down eh? Reckon you could knock off 2 seconds without so much wheelspin
  3. Those are generally good times for me Sammo. Also hillclimb on May 2nd, which I'll be going to, and there will probably be a few ae86dc guys there too
  4. Soz, just not keen on stickers on windows haha. Remind me when I see you next? PS I heart rollaclub
  5. Postwhoring probably annoys him just as much
  6. HMMM is tempting Vince, what sort of orange is it? Because I wont be putting it on the window, probably on the front or rear beaver panel. Cheers ;)
  7. So.... pics of this T18?
  8. But its not going to make it any faster... Seriously don't bother
  9. Eww don't gut the cat. Will sound worse. And they actually have a purpose Keybangers are highly entertaining though
  10. Haha its the moo cow ke70. Looks alright though
  11. Have you considered foam filling the rails TRD bros? Or have you already acheived enough stiffness with the cage and to a lesser extent, seam welding. I really like this car too, very neat and clean!
  12. Nooo! I hope I get to see it before it shuts down then. Hachi stylez lol, should go nuts on the pan with all that powaahhh.
  13. ^ Ahahha. Hopefully hes managed to fix it back up. Was discussing this same idea with a mate the other day... Still very keen for karts as well And will probably be at the next hill climb too. Wheres the skidpan Sloth? Marulan? I'm thinking about going out there soonish, maybe in spring or something. Oh and coast run soon?
  14. Was it closing before? Had a similar problem with a camry. The spring that holds the boot open was mounted the wrong way round, so when the boot was forced closed it snapped! Welded it back up, mounted properly right way round and its been working fine since
  15. I dunno, like $30 if that covers post. But yeah you're probably better off getting oversize ones anyway, and bore it out. Rather than have stockers flapping around in there. Are you going to get those wheels widened? I was thinking of getting some for mine to fit over mah brakes
  16. ^ LOL same. boop boop, and piiissssccch as the doors open. Brap brap brap brrrraaaaaappppppppp tttssssscchhhuuu
  17. Evan, got a full set of stock 4K pistons, good ring lands from memory if you want. $1000000. Only took them out for oversize pistolas. Car looks choice, what wheels did you get for it?
  18. Yeah no idea about the fuel release, but I'd say it just fits straight in with no mods. KE70's were all built the same to save costs, and had bits added as extras, so that any car could be optioned up easily Although, I think I see what you're saying... with the lock/catch etc on the fuel flap Take a photo of the fuel release?

    My Ke55

That is a stock 4K carby. Looks alright, quite straight!
  20. The XX KE70's had them as well as AE71. I have installed the remote boot release into my KE70 CS, didnt do the fuel release as the cable was cut. The levers will fit down to the right of the drivers seat. Its easiest if you take the seat out then lift the carpet. You'll need to find a bolt that fits the welded nut on the floorpan seat support thing. Slit the carpet to fit the levers through. Run the cables down the side of the car under the carpet, you should find a couple of zinc plated clips up the inner wheel arch. Run the boot cable into the boot obviously, and connect it to the latch. Will fit straight up to your latch.
  21. Congrats mate! I think this calls for a celebratory cruise, so everyone can have a perve at the sweet looking engine bay. Thats heaps of torque too, no wonder it hauls. Must have felt great finally driving it home

    Hill Climb

Looked good on the track chappo, lots of single leggers haha. Seemed a lot lighter in the rear without all the extra stuff in there
  23. Good thing it wasnt my current car then! Yeah I knew that, anyway I have since sold that car and havent been game to try ethanol blend again
  24. Nope, I always use 98. Economy and performance make up for the price in my opinion. Ethanol is the worst! Car went so shit with that
