  3. Yup : ) Ive got a switch here which is a sliding resistor, the only thing i can think that it might be in a vintage 60's to 70's toyota is a dimmer switch ! so many things, not enough hours in the day. haha
  4. What vintage toyota has a vertical dimmer switch? hahah. Anyone know of any toyota's that don't have a rotary style dimmer switch? ya'll rock =D xo

  7. shit, if you can't port the heads, What *can* you do to these motors? hahah
  8. I remember when i had the old 4k in my 70, had a 3K Bigport on it. blew more headgaskets than ive had hot dinners. haha. i ended up getting this one gasket from an old parts dude on the north side of brisbane, was an old asbestos bigport gasket - It was the _ only _ manifold gasket that actually outlived the life of the head gasket, and didnt blow the center 2 ports out within 10,000 kms. lol. :rolls:
  9. If you can only use factory manifolds from a K series engine, get a 5K twin exhaust manifold, they flow infinitely better than the stock into 1 setup. You might have some luck using a 7K Manifold, they are twin factory.. but you may have to play with the ports ;)
  10. G'Day ! Throw this one into the sharks den; I've played with 4k's & larger during my time with spanners and corolla's. Never really dabbled in the mighty 3k though; Question: are 3K sump gaskets the same as 4k sump gaskets / Are the sumps different on the sealing side(s) ? Have 10 3K NOS sump gaskets here, wanting to know if i should bin them or not. lol.
  11. Thats awesome to see a glimpse into another part of the world : ) Where abouts are you Thailand ? Cooool : )
  12. If you own a toyota stout, i would love to hear from you :) Chances are too, you'd love to talk to me =D hahah Send me a PM Cheers Ted
  13. This brand new washer bottle. Google photo searches is telling me its not a Ke30 or Ke55 washer bottle. I am.. not too sure. Its not the same as the Ke20 out the back; What do ya'll think its from? Note the removable nozzle at the bottom, its got a shit-gauze catcher inside. Kinda cool novelty from an era when you could actually.. work on your own car. Pics in the next post : ) Cheers ! Tedz  edit : Nip-Denzo number on it is 60351-016 - oh how id kill to get a ND parts listing <3
  14. ill see if i can dig up my townace brochure packs, see if they specify gear ratios and things for the auto vans. Sure ive got some technical data on the shit box stashed around here somewhere. *epic chin scratch*

  18. Cheers mate, i might have to bring out the later parts books, these sub 71 things are giving me grief. lol. :)
  19. As the title says guys, ive got a Ke1* flasher unit here, part number 81980-20060, possibly 81980-20030 or 8198012H04. Its a 2 Pin flasher relay, but it cross references to an early land cruiser. My question is - Is a Ke1_ series flasher unit a 2 or 3 pin job? Cheers =D
  20. Jake, when ya ask Nelly, just get her to tell you if they are stretch bolts or not. the epc should tell her if they are torque region reusable parts or not. :)
  21. keep it together ladies, uneventful first world issue :P can't wait for next month =D
  22. G'Day Ladies Just wanted to throw a question into the air. Does anyone know of, have a list of, or know where to point me in the direction of getting some form of parts list, catalogue or information on factory toyota Koito Lens's ? EG. A Toyota Koito lens number would be - 12-19R. What would that number then work out to be, in the toyota system. For those of you that can crack this for me, there will be a nice little reward headed your way in the post ;) Cheers ! T'
