Mmmm old car smell is awesome. A back seat full of dogs (and you don't own one), not so much.

Nah just a budget exterior strip (grill, lights, bumpers etc) Tape up the rest (chrome, door handles etc). May strip my interior plastics and paint them if I can be bothered. And I have to re hang the drivers door. And the passenger door behind it.

Got 4 litres of GMH matt black. Plus got my mates compressor and 10 days off work. I'll never make the rattle can mistake again. Although it was only ever meant to be temporary spray can job for RWC. I would of painted it sooner but the guy I'm borrowing the compressor off hadn't used it and I didn't wanna mess up his virgin compressor. Great, another holiday where all I do is work on my car. Was discussing this on a rides thread so I thought I'd make a quick one myself. Is your old 30+ year old rolla smelly inside? Place a plate of bicarbonate or baking soda inside the cabin and boot over night. Spread it over the plate so there is lots of surface area. If it still smells sprinkle it over all the upholstery surfaces and leave for half an hour and vacuum off. It wont stain and is ten times cheaper than other anti smell stuff. Edited my last post, sprinkle it all over the place then Hoover it up if putting it on a plate doesn't work.

Hey mate if you wanna get rid of the smell put some bicarbonate soda on a bread plate and spread it out so there is plenty of surface area. Leave it in the car overnight and it'll soak up all the bad smell. Maybe chuck one in the boot as well. If that doesn't work sprinkle it over all the upholstery and leave it for half an hour and vacuum off. It's worked for me before but sometimes bad smells just are in old cars. Benefits of the missus watching those crap "How clean is your house" shows. EDIT: you can use baking soda too. Also good for putting in 1.5L coke bottles too with a bit of water to make dry ice bombs :dance:

Getting on the phone to a call centre and as soon as you can't hold onto that poo/piss any longer they finally answer while you are letting go on speaker phone. It was quite humorous to be honest. WGMG: driving past a car parts store to another one to grab something, they don't have it so you go to the next one and so on for a few stores and end up getting it at the store you drove past in the first place two hours later. FML

Sweet. I've got a 32/36 re-jetted sitting in my garage with an adapter plate on a 3k manifold and chrome air filter ready to bolt on. Been sitting there for almost a month. Slack. 9 days off work starting now.

Yeah DAXMAN had the black DX bumpers. Looks like I'm fabricating stuff.... Or shelling out for new bumpers, which was the plan but not monetarily viable yet.

Or dumpster dive an exhaust place late at night and get them for free. Not that I know of any RC members who do that :dance:
