nice well explained post mate ;) as for lighting the flywheel, its amazing how much it efffects the engine's pickup. i had a charade with one n it use to haul ass lol :yes:

a engine reggardless of age should not use anything but fuel/desiel. you will probably find your valve stem seals to be worn, when your going down a hill in say 3rd does it get a bit smelly or blow excessive blue smoke? if thats the case u may want to run thicker oil in it or replace the steam seals. other wise u got a nasty oil leak, if it was to leak 4litres over 3500km's then I'm sure you would no about it already lol.

its the most central lowest pully that the alternator/water pump belt runs on, if it has any free play it will be buggered,

yeah sounds right, Bosch make dizzy and caps as with champion they just make caps, points etc..

is that ur orange rolla thats around here heaps?

this is correct, if your not sure what your current dizzy cap/rotor button is is easy way to do it would be just take it in side and get it matched ngk should cover ur points/plugs/leads if ur still having troubles look in to ur coil as well
