  1. Which in turn makes police cars illegal too. Their proposals seem far fetched and not well thought out as to the side effects they cause. we will see how far the rules change.
  2. So... it appears the day was sucessful and we can be reassured that we can continue to modify our cars :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwk9Y-d6RC4&list=UUtjnYCDQ-g3Vm1UkQhOE1kg&index=1&feature=plcp http://kustomkultureaustralia.com/2012/02/26/nsw-motor-enthusiasts-conference/
  3. Sorry for the late notice but will be held this weekend at Eastern Creek Raceway. I've copied the following from another forum which explains majority: "Hi Guys, Not sure if you guys know but I thought I would post this up: As the post says this is not a protest as such but rather a show of strength in opposition to the draconian legislation threatening our sport. Vehicle Standards Bulletin 14 (VSB 14) A lot of you may not know but the bureaucrats at the RTA have quietly disposed of the VSI50 which is no more, however they HAVE snuck in the VSB14 which affects us all. In essence ALL our modded vehicles are illegal, the slightest deviation from the car that rolled out of the showroom as standard is ILLEGAL. New Information VSI50 still exists, but has not yet been finalised - VSB14 is a federal standard - VSI59 is the NSW interpretation of VSB14 is not yet finalised, or adopted. - Current engineering certificates are still valid, and can be presented to the RMS until June 2012 - All of the engineering signatories have had their *licences* revoked, and the entire engineering scheme has been replaced with a new Vehicle Safety Compliance Certification Scheme (VSCCS)" Links: http://www.confederationofmotorclubs.org.au/pdf/conference.pdf http://www.facebook.com/events/195705173858162/?ref=nf

  14. Sorry to hear dude, i was gonna say something earlier about dale and his crew but you seemed pretty set on using that workshop. Your not the only one who been burnt by them. Heck ive had them make a mess of one my wiring jobs simply because he has no idea when it comes to electrical principles or quality of wiring neatness. Highly unrecommended! I would think long and hard about that one. There are "other" reputable dyno tuners out there. Hope your path to skid action is not too far away :) Best of luck.

  22. ae82 rad fitted sweet and had enough room for thermos.. no cutting of rad support except for cooler pipes yes, with the motor bolted to the factory gearbox, we custom made the mounts to suit the best position. Go to your local wrecking yard. Just get one out of any efi AE series corolla.. they are mounted next to the ecu.. easiest way to keep it factory... also easy to understand when diagnosing future problems. Also you will need a speed signal input to the engine ecu. you can tap into the pollution computer which you can see in the pics. We had 2.5" It sounded sweet.. nice and quiet We machined the flywheel because we fitted a new clutch. We were going to fit it but ran out of time.. you have to make custom lines to suit 1g ps pump
