  3. I looked at a 20v block a couple of weeks ago and it didnt have a cutout?! there must be a variation between the series. Anyway i finished my conversion and it aint easy getting the gearbox to bolt to a 4a block.
  4. Or you try ke20 standard bike wheels :(
  5. i got 500ish k's outta my ze when i had it in my shitbox ae82 seca averaged out about 7-8l/100kms

  11. Adjuster = Tensioner :lock:
  12. I'm doing this conversion at the moment and i all i can tell you is that these 4wd gearboxes are not easy to remove! Toyota allow 12 hours for their technician(s) to change a clutch on the ae95's.
  13. i had superlows in my ae82 until the spring snapped due to buggered shocks..... i reccomend you change very soon
  14. dam i wish u guys were in sydney
  15. I just listen for where the factory central locking module is under the dash usually under the steering wheel. lock and unlock the doors and listen for a clicking sound coming from under the dash. the clicking is relays in the module. From what i can remember most toyotas switch neg on the central locking. i just probe the locking module with my test light (connected to neg) to see which wire locks and unlocks the doors (if its neg switched)
  16. Also check the headlight/hi beam relay(s) they maybe be faulty i.e. dirty contacts or sticking contacts.
  17. uhhhh its not a good idea to back probe ecu's with your normal test light unless u like stuffing ecu's up. use a LED test light if you are going to back probe the ecu.
  18. I'm in the same situation as this atm anyone got any info on r31 lsd conversions? ive searched a number of forums and everyone seems to have mixed opinions but nothing really solid
  19. yeh no worries mate ill be there in my white ae82 with a bonnet scoop :( amongst all the sportivos by the looks of it lol
