  1. Just compare it to a ke70 one, they're the same as ae71 besides the hydroness
  2. Yeah ke10 is 4 bolt square unlike ke70/ ae86.. Which was why i was thinking of swapping struts originally until i remembered they were different.. As i said the main reason for thinking of just swapping the entire struts over is they'll be out of the car at the same time anyway The struts are identical side to side so there's nothing really to worry about camber or castor wise i should imagine As Dave and Irokin pointed out i think my biggest issue will be brake hoses.. I might pick off the bracket and weld it to the side of the strut, so it just goes in one side, out the other and straight down into the caliper if you get what i mean
  3. Looks like kollaclub!
  4. That is a bare body yes, at the moment. But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about people with perfectly good, fully operating cars who refer to them or think of them like that.
  5. Yeah well I was having both struts out of the car so that's just the say I thought of it originally, I can rotate the brackets but calipers will need to be swapped either side
  6. People that refer to cars as "shells" ʞ©$ɟ sake, it's a car, when you say that it just sounds disposable!! Which in drifting or motorsport I guess fair enough, but when you're talking about old rareish cars like comaro's, trans ams, Plymouths etc it pisses me off. It's that kind of attitude that's made them so rare in the first place. Like cockheads who look at a guard with a little bit of rust or a a dent and go oh its ʞ©$ɟed, better trash this and get a new one. ʞ©$ɟ, why do you think there's no spares? Get off your arse, pick up a hammer and atleast attempt to fix it, it's not that hard!!!! Same goes for cars, oh it has some rust so I'll crush it and get a new one, dickhead! It's 30 years old what do you expect!! Either have a go ay repairing it or sell it to someone who will actually fix it!!! This throw it out or replace instead of repair attitude pisses me the ʞ©$ɟ off. Yes it may be more financially viable to replace sometimes but Jesus. The amount of decent cars that just people I know have sent to the scrap, old corollas, early chevs and even a model a rolling body.. Jesus. Anyway rant over and excuse the French, but God people shit me.
  7. Christ, first heard that about 3 years ago, still just as awesome though
  8. Is he local? That perhaps you could take a normal 4ag bellhousing or try it on your engine and take back if it doesn't fit?
  9. ^ Sounds like a friends Turbo 31. Wheels too wide, Tires undersize, Tires bald, Too Loud, Too Low, Too much track, Not engineered for coilovers, Seat, No adr steering wheel, Not engineered harness, Non secure exhaust, Not engineered for turbo conversion, The front mount was "Hazardous" even though it was behind the front bumper.. Brake light out, He had a hydro with no mechanical brake as well, They just assumed it had a weldy by the way it parked when they pulled it over. Pretty big fine for it as well.. So in short he reshelled it, Sold it and it was rolled within a week. Pretty idiotic really, Used to remove cats eyes when you changed lanes!
  10. That takes up 5!?
  11. I'd ideally like a ' lla) ' on the end of that but i'm cool with Coro i guess
  12. What does grind my gears though is that rollaclub is shortening my rides thread title. It cuts it short when everyone elses are about 4x longer!!
  13. Looks w55/6/7/8 to me! It probably just has a M or J series supra bellhousing on it, You'll need to take it off and buy the 4ag one.
  14. There are people who wear them just as caps you realise? Not everyone that has one is an illest stickering mini trucker..
  15. +102739283820363927x2629262926392629262926292629 squared.
  16. Boostcruising.com.au For sale, brake rotor, barely used. Must have had unobtabium brake pads or something!
  17. Basically my concern was just is having the caliper at the rear going to have any negative effect on it, I'm pretty sure it'll be right but doesn't hurt for a second opinion
  18. Yeah I thought about that after I wrote it hahah *Edit, But, The calipers will still need to be swapped side to side in that case or else they'll be upside down. and the bleeder will be at the bottom
  19. I'm most likely going a whiteline swaybar for my ke10. There's the issue of the brake calipers hitting when you switch to disk brake.. So I had the though of swapping struts side to side so the calipers are now at the rear and don't interfere Can anyone see any problems with this? I was thinking the disks will now be spinning opposite directions than they previously were.. and I'm unsure whether this would have any negative effects or I'm just overthinking it? Cheers!
  20. I lol'd at the danger to manifold bit
  21. 10mm longer than ke70 lca's. When you put them it leaves a good, normal amount of track amount unlike s13 lca's which add a metric ʞ©$ɟton per side..
  22. Ballin' http://gripshiftslide.com/2012/04/01/xxl2nv-hyundai-time-attack-car/
  23. Most of the parts ordered to make my new Coilovers. Will update when they're being constructed. Also need to grab some t18 brakes and hubs and buy some 165/55's as i couldn't find anywhere to get 175/50's
  24. Just got money, Pretty much spent it all already.. Story of my life.
