Hey guys, I put some front coilovers into my ke70 over the weekend which are made from 51mm corona struts, however the right hand one has a bit of play which causes a knocking noise whenever I drive it, which feels to be coming from the bearing on the camber top. I'm also getting some spring binding on both coilovers which is not really a massive problem but kind of annoying. Any ideas of how to fix these issues? Thanks Ben

I've got a set of Ae86 struts that have been converted into coilovers but I'm not happy with the quality. Essentially I want to replace the cut and welded stock tube with a new not-welded tube with a nice new gland nut thread cut in the top (threads damaged currently). The strut tube doesn't appear to be welded to spindle casting, so I was wondering if anyone had tried removing it with a bit of heat. I'd like to know before I go ripping the suspension out of my car preferably. Thanks -

hey guys, ive recently aquired my dads old 69 ke10 corolla and am in the process of a building the engine, respraying etc., i'll try to get some pics up soon. i want to make up coilovers for the front and remove the leaf, can anyone recomend a beefier strut that suits the ke 10 to use ase a base for the coilover? and if it were to support bigger brakes to that wouldn't be a bad thing. thanks chris

Hey guys, i want to do a coil over setup for the front of my ke35. Right now i have stock struts, brakes etc. (Haven't touched the suspension just got king springs in the front). I'm running a 7K-C with a 40mm Side-draft Weber. Nothing fast, but i feel like the suspension needs to be more stable on the turns, adjustable at times and some bigger brakes. (thinking xt130's) I'm not sure what coilovers packages fit e.g. (g4) (AJPS) etc..... I'm looking to by new struts, coilover package, recondish breaks, adjustable camber tops... What do you guys think about brans or products ????? Also whats my options for the rear ? i have stock leaf springs how do lowering blocks go with suspension performance on these cars ?
