pro_ke Posted July 20, 2004 Author Report Posted July 20, 2004 series 6 are good, the series 8 front is the daddy though. how are you getting one for 20k?! NICE! PICS (of you not car) Quote
demuire Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 Covergirl: How bout you make a deal and buy like 5 of them and get a deal on the lot (like $10K each or something) and then sell the other 4 to us for the same price? :) Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 start an rx7 group purchase thread :) Quote
MD0086 Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 :D Oh yeah I'm defiantely down for that then just change the website to rx7club.com, excellent i actually wouldnt mind getting one of these What do you guys think?? Mny of them thrashed, etc?? What are your experiences been like?? Any problems?? I don't think hijacking this thread would be an issue :) Michael Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 yeah this is a bit of a whore thread isn't it :) i'd be happy with any clean body and interior example, as far as the FC3S (series 4/5) goes anyway. it pretty much goes without saying that any rotary that's done +120,000km is going to be wanting a rebuild or new motor soon, so if you want big power, factor in another ~6k for a decent build and some cool bits ideally, pay another 5 grand to start off with and get one thats already got motor, exhaust, wheels, front mount, etc etc done to it Quote
pro_ke Posted July 22, 2004 Author Report Posted July 22, 2004 you can get a very low km series 8 for 50k on the road :) Quote
pro_ke Posted July 22, 2004 Author Report Posted July 22, 2004 series 8 meaning the latest update to the current rx7 shape not an rx8 :) i was very surprised driving the rx8, i guessed they would feel like every other small car (ie no torque at lo revs) but it actually felt about the same down low as a gen 3 holden! they go quite well and imo are a nice alternative to a wrx etc etc :D Quote
Felix Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 I'll have me a nice bridgeported S4 turbo pls bridgeported turbo... good one. shows how little you know about rotaries. Quote
pro_ke Posted July 22, 2004 Author Report Posted July 22, 2004 hate to break it to you mate but brideports and turbos are a very good combination!!! Quote
pro_ke Posted July 22, 2004 Author Report Posted July 22, 2004 anyone who doubts that a bridgeport turbo works needs to fly over to puerto rico and say that... and see if they come back alive :) a great example of the many PR cars that run very high power BP turbo setups is the siguel racing 20b rx7 Quote
irokin Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Nah gotta go perhipheral ports....nothing beats the PP Quote
