Des Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 25 watt amp in the boot, Now thats old. As you said not my cup of tea. Quote
ke30king Posted December 10, 2006 Author Report Posted December 10, 2006 sorry bout the huge pics Quote
JiP Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Now it looks just okay without the top, but with it takes away all the character that the hardtop had. a big :P from me. Quote
Raven Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I think it looks cool. Definately something different, thats for sure :P Quote
mattress Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I must say it looks rancid. Props to him for having the patience to do the job though... Quote
7shades Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 eew. reminds me of those very hastily-constructed mitsubishi colt "drifter" convertables.... Quote
pozman Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 the boot is not right, it looks goofy, and the top is shitful. good for the time tho, imean its even got a colour TV!! Quote
JiP Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 If i had shitloads of money to waste like this guy, i would have removed the back seat all together and tried to make it a hardtop convertable. Now that would look cool. Mainly cause it would keep the original roofline. Quote
pozman Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 this reminds me of this one that i found one day, some of you might have seen it already. theres some thing about all these custom convertables and having shit roofs Quote
Des Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 That celica looks ok with its top down. Quote
JiP Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 The Celica lokks Shit Hot without the top. You'd think that they could design a better looking roof for a convertable!! Quote
pozman Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 if i was building the rolla convert i would have kept the rear windows to help get a decent shape for the roof, they wouldn't be a prob when the roof was down as they wind down. that way it keeps it similar shape to the coupe Quote
Raven Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I'd use an old 67 cortina as a convertible. Would look sweet as :P Quote
