irokin Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 its funny how they are both sitting there nice and calmly....... I also shit calmly when that happens Quote
irokin Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 personally I recon they both came out of it with injurys....not because the car rolled etc....its because of the sudden stop when the car hits the bump stops.... Quote
Redwarf Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Confirmed, that would have landed alright, great pic! Would probably have taken 10- 15 minutes to get the seat squab out of the nav's rectum though... Quote
demuire Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Haha, I recon he'd have to have more camber in the front end after landing that one :) Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 its amazing how far you can launch a car and get away with it... years ago i launched my ae92 levin off a stop bank (road went over it) at 100kmh.... stop bank was about 7-8 feet high.... i fluked the perfect speed, we would have flown about 10 metres at least.... didnt even skip the cd player.... mates wanted me to go back and try it again, i didnt wanna tempt fate! id say they landed it ok, but the ae86 i reckon wouldve needed a wheel alignment... Quote
Redwarf Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Mmmm, I think the AE86 was on it's way to an endo. If you notice how high the back is in relaton to the front, my theory is the back is still going up, while the nose is going down. If it landed alright, it would have hurt, and the service crew would have been picking them up! The Ke70 on the other hand is sitting flat, has good attitude and whilst landing hard, they would have kept going. Quote
