Nah I just love making weird projects anything from a jet scooter to my old cap banger..That made AWESOME sparks..lol So no the thrill of knowing you did it and well people saying u can't do that and you do is awesome and well not many people can say oh i built one of those when I was young..lol Most kids play the sony or build a sling shot I must say fun if it float your boat but nah can't beat making a good old coke bottle rocket and launching about 25 of them on to the neighbors roof while there out...LOL that was fun..

i'm the same, love building them, then experiencing the improvements, makes me proud of my work.

 

my aunty hassels me on the money i spend on the things i do, but what else have i got to spend money on :)

i just love modifying vehicles, be it a skateboard, truck or anything in between. When i was young(er) i made a few pushbikes and scooters (8 total) and me and my pa' designed a carbon fiber skateboard. since then ive done 3 cars for myself (2 that i finished) and helped with heaps of others.

 

With cars i just love building an '81 rolla that has 4 different colours on it and owning the people who think the only way to go fast is to pay through the nose for imported parts :)

 

next project (when i get funds) is a '47 harley knucklehead :P

 

hate wood tho, thats what builders and carpenters are for :)

nice thread. I thought about this for awhile, because sometimes i get so damn frustrated trying to get things just right, be it body or mechanical, but i think all of the reward comes when the owner of that awsome v8 can only look in despair as a riced up, chrome wheeled rola pulls away from it. At powercruise i had some awsome reactions :)

 

For more motivation, my mates cars include a 383 ea falcon, 400 vs commo, 304 twin turbo HR, 308 LJ, and i plan to be faster than the lot of them, now that is why i do it, its a challenge i love to step up to!
