Hi all . iam long time reader fiorst time poster.

I have a ke55 with 4kc and 5 speed box.

Ive scoured the net and local resources but havnt

had any luck finding extractors or elec dizzy for the peanut.

I tried a place in adelaide for a 7ke efi setup and they were

asking $650 computer to injectors but no dizzy. just after a bit

of advice on the above. Just trying to squeeze a bit of power

for now until i deciede on a new engine and box setup.

$650 for all the 7ke stuff doesn't sound too bad!! :D you don't HAVE to have the elec dizzy, if you got all that 7k stuff you can just use your stock dizzy with it.

 

Extractors can still be purchased new, or with a bit more SEARCHING you would find a copy of sets second hand on here. :yak:

cheers for the advice have tried searching heaps but pacemaker don't make em anymore same with 2 other brands.

If you are after extractors try Genie Headers, they also do some in their Wild Cat range which is Genies with a Ceramic Coating.

why not upgrade to a 5k? you will gert quite a bit more power and makes a better base to start with... altho they arnt the most common engine around, not like 3/4k's

i got hurricane extractors from midas on brighton road for 250 but you can get them cheaper from aussie discount brakes and mufflers on the corner of port road and south road.

 

i got an electronic dizzy from city dismantlers for 120. the cheapest place in adelaide and you get a warrnty. i rang every wrecker in adelaide to find one. not that common.

 

where did you get that quote for the 7k efi setup? I'm interested in getting that setup for my brothers ke70.

$120 hey? Mine came with my 5K i got from u-pull-it for $180. It works perfectly fine, but $120 aint bad for one with a warranty. :D
