I'm not sure if I want to run the mags; it looks really good with the steelies, but it looks really good with the mags.

I'll let you guys make my decision.

well; it IS gonna be flat black soon. I thought the bright mags would really go off with the dark paint. Plus; the front wheel beads are so rusty, I'm having a hard time keeping them from going flat, and they're bent slightly.

Bit hard to tell, Both wheels look good.

I'd say do that red section on the door white too, red rims and whitwall tires.

Red steelies, whitewall flappers. Maybe get a wheel specialist to straighten the rims and powdercoat them a bright red. Ditch the guard mirrors and get a set of peep mirrors.

 

With the graphics, I reckon just scallop the front of the car to halfway up the bonnet, with the points stopping just in front of the windscreen, and maybe a third of the way along the doors. Keep where the side windows were black, and either get some mack brushes and pinstripe it, or paint some old styled aged/weathered signage on it. :D

I've decided not to scallop it, but I was planning to stencil "Toyota parts and service" with the old address and the original Toyota logo I got from Banjo

Now that would look pretty sweet

Nice wagon! I dig the flat black with scallops, but i think the wheels need to be red or orange (same as the scallops) as well for a little more contrast. Oh and whitewalls or white lettering :D

yea go with felix idea i was going to say that, and will be doin it on a white hillman hunter!
