Des Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Hey hey, Since my ke70 wont be anywhere near road worthy condition when i get my licence back i have a bought a St141 corona to drive then. The bad stuff Needs new tires as my 13's with new tires makes the car look weird and it feels sloppy with them on. The rear windows don't wind up or down, The passenger door doesnt open either. Has 2 tiny spots of rust in the roof but they havent had a chance to go to holes yet. Time for the good stuff Has no terminal rust, Suspension is ok, Runs fine, Has a 5 speed, I put my s13 rims on it and it looks half decent now. Pictures Quote

CD_rollaman Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 A mate had one of these for his first car. They look good with a small wing on the boot, breaks up the squareness. Quote
ROLLLA Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 weld the diff and those things drift nicely :kiwi: Quote
7shades Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 no no no.... these ones don't have the star(mis)fire engine.... they have the one prone to throwing timing chains instead hehehehe :y: Quote
Des Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) Haha your both wrong, Xt130's had the starfire 1.9 and rt142 had the 22re which has the habit of throwing timing chains, This is a 2s-c still a 2.0 litre but has a very very narrow valve angle. Anywho passengers door now works, Runs on all 4 cylinders and is smoooth as, Cd/mp3 head deck in. Edited April 15, 2007 by AE70 Quote
Des Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) Well i need a new window holder rail for the left hand side rear door and the mechanism on the drivers side rear door doesnt move at all so apart both come when i have a day off work. This is the only rust in the car and check out how clean the boot is. Edited April 15, 2007 by AE70 Quote
jamesrolla Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 whole car looks neat as, even the interior, I'm with ROLLA, give it some weldy lovin Quote
Des Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) Haha its going to be the daily so it needs to be as road worthy as possible, Attention from the local people or the police isnt needed. The rust has no holes which means a sand and paint and she will be sweet, Boot is fairly clean aswell :y: Edited April 15, 2007 by AE70 Quote
