Rb20 In A Ke70: You Guys Recon Its Possible?

hey fellas,

i was thinking of upgrading later on in the year, after i set up the car a little better (eg. suspension, brakes, rims)

and i was thinking of putting an RB20 in....i know its Nissan and you'll tell me to piss off to NS haha, but i was wondering if you recon it could be done, problems i will face (other than the fact that a motor conversion is generally difficult, plus i realise crossing manufacturers can be suicide) but i was just wondering about any OTHER issues with a Ke70 in general motor conversion, as I'm sure even troubles occur when it comes to 4AGE's and stuff being put in the rollas.

same literage too!

 

aren't rb20 the similar in size, as in dimensions, as a rb25 or 30?

 

so thewrefore better to put the big one in ;)

 

p.s. btw theres nothing wrong with cross breading

don't go rb

go ca or sr..

i have a ca in my ke70, goes like a showere of shit... a mate has a sr in his.. goes like a shower of diohrea....

don't listen to the purist fags,, cheap power is the way to go!!

Some of us spend money on K motors because they don't cost a lot. That is the whole premise of a corolla. As for cross breeding I'm all for it but seriously you need to weigh up how much you are going to spend. Is it worth it? How much of the work can you do for yourself? The majority of you who ask these questions are unable to do much of it. After all it's a car that in stock form that will fetch at best $1000. I don't class spending anything over $1000 as cheap power.

BAH^^

My last kesev had twin SU's, extractors with full exhaust and large race cam.. it was junk.. that all cost me close to 600, money wasted if u ask me.. 4age install will cost u just as much maybe more than any nissan motor...

reality.... k motors are junk.. 4ages are good.... ca, sr or even the rb are cheap and farkn quick!!!

don't waste time and money with pushrod junk!!!!
