7shades Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 A new beast in our driveway, housemate is having a party for his birthday and decided to build a charcoal spit (of sorts), buy a lamb and cook it. 5 hours of cooking to go and we will have dinner...for the entire neighborhood That is so awesomely masculine I just instantly sprouted a moustache almost as healthy and luxuriant as Tom Selleck's. TOM Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 QUOTE (TOM @ Feb 20 2010, 01:59 PM) * A new beast in our driveway, housemate is having a party for his birthday and decided to build a charcoal spit (of sorts), buy a lamb and cook it. 5 hours of cooking to go and we will have dinner...for the entire neighborhood That is so awesomely masculine I just instantly sprouted a moustache almost as healthy and luxuriant as Tom Selleck's. Couldn't have said it better myself Shady! Well the lamb has been partly consumed, and we're all quite drunk. Wish I got some shots during the "testing of the meat" - 12 guys standing around a rotating lamb, next to a cut up 40 gallon drum filled with Charcoal in 38 sticky humid degrees, forks at the ready in one hand, beers in the other. We knocked one whole leg off in what can only be described as "Cavemen with Forks". A feast of civility and granduer, we are now firmly in touch with our masculinity and carnivorousness. Quote

JiP Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Posted February 21, 2010 Went to the Museum today. I think they stole this from the Fortress Of Solitude... ;) My ass is hanging over the edge... Thought this Hemi was cool. It was donated by Chrysler Aust... It had a crank so you can see all the parts moving. My front plate that took the impact of the piece of tire the car infront flicked up... The plate protector shattered :) Quote

Taz_Rx Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 Got sent these in one of those group spam emails. Was titles "This is NOT stainless steel"..... Here was the blurb..... Recession? What recession? Check this out! It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire. Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque 0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs running on biofuel. That is NOT stainless steel. It is WHITE GOLD! I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight, knowing that the exorbitant dollars you're paying for gas these days are at least going to a good cause... Wouldn't be suprised if the white gold is a load of crap though as I can't see this doing a quarter in 6.89 seconds! :lolcry:  Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 I seem to remember her being posted on here before.... not a bad way to blow a couple million  Quote

JiP Posted February 26, 2010 Author Report Posted February 26, 2010 I now can say I've seen what curb feelers are :lolcry: A couple cars I saw at work. mmm... Crown  Thought this was trippy how the water level was the same height as the label... Forklift tiremarks... And this pole is really crooked... Quote
