Gave the car a treat today and brought it along to a trackday at Eastern Creek Raceway.

 

 

 

I got an intake pipe made up for the engine bay to mount the pod filter in front of the radiator and first it looks like this:

 

and towards the end of the day the pod broke off some where around the track leaving me to result to this backyard mod :o

O snap! i got new head lights for my car!

I got sick of not being able to see at night so i fitted a xenon HID set i had laying around. Its an 8000k kit which I'm loving at the moment. Had to aim the headlight right down as i kept getting high beamed :)

 

If only it was a square nose front end. :)

I also upgrade the front brake setup before i took it to track along with replacing every bush , ball joint and rack end on the steering/suspension.

 

xt133 strut, ae71 spring, ae71 top hat, xt130 slotted rotors

 

KYB 4-way adjustable inserts

 

All together with the rt132 sumitomo twin piston calipers and new braided brake lines
