Jono.C Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 What is a "dint" i know what a dent is.. But since when did "dint" become an interchangeable word for it? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Always thought it was a small dent. Hmm seems you dint something and the result is a dent but both words are interchangeable Edited May 8, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
Willis Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 So dint is the verb and dent is the outcome??? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 It's a noun and verb the same as dent and means exactly the same thing. Quote
Willis Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 Hm. I always thought "dint" was just the kiddy habit that some people never grew out of... My mistake indeed. Quote
coln72 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Waiting for my missus to pop. Only 2 weeks to go (maybe) and I can't wait for it to be over................. Quote

carbonboy Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 WGMG - The Victorian State Government. :glare: Are pulling the pin on a large amount of funding for the TAFE system & there's murmurs of a HECS style setup, my licencing night school just got a whole lot more expensive. As if things weren't all over the place enough! This is with an underfunded school system, a healthcare system up the creek & they seem to be more preoccupied with spending $1.4 billion on a public transport ticket system (that's still not working 100%) & who knows how much on a bloody giant ferris wheel that's still not operating ~18 months after it was meant to open. Quote
JiP Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 WGMG... I am over this cold. Finished my course of antibiotics Wednesday. Yesterday was my first clear headed day in almost 4 weeks and today its worse than it was in the whole last month :( My brother thought it was funny to write "tampons" on the shopping list on my fridge, i'm about ready to buy a pack to shove up my nose!!
