Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I remember a little while ago some discussion which degenerated to the topic of whose was biggest ( and I believe Mel was somehow involved ? ) Well get ready to show what you got, and stand back when I unzip my fly. Yes boys and girls We are going to be converting to the sports sedan category. Rob may have two in his new car but we have four. OOOHHH AAAHHH GRUNT GRUNT :) Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 The walls of Jericho will be safe tonight, Not into cutting hole in bonnet (yet) Std plenum will suffice for the moment. 290 horses running loose in the top paddock will be enough to create more expense in the driveline area. Any bets on how long the old diff will hold up? Quote
demuire Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Umm... Surely this isn't in the KE20??? Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 No fook it's not in the 20. It is in the trailer waiting to go to brissy to go in the 20. Quote
Redwarf Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 The engine came with a free size 34 shoe horn to help it go in the car! :) Peter, can I've a drive???? :P Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 Going to remove front susp, crossmember etc, raise front of car very high in the air, position motor and box under, and drop. This method should massage the surrounding metal into the right shape. Failing that i will be looking for six weight watchers dropouts to do a photo shoot with the 20. Quote
Xany Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 *puts big musclely hand up*.... you're now looking for 5...... Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 I'm only worried how you would look draped over the bonnet. Fook , Haikal, advice PLEASE!! Quote
Xany Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 damn.....that would be a nasty pic...... :) ok....i was referring to the lifting and moving of the engine..... :P Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 Ah, phew , thats better, just cleared bad mental picture from head. Thanks , might have to call on many hands if trusty engine lifter gives up the ghost. At the moment I will be just delivering it to the shrine of conversion, whereafter we will conduct a contemplation ritual involving the imbibement of a stimulant to enhance our powers of concentration. Translation ; get on the piss and try to figure out how to get a square peg in a round hole. Quote
Peter Posted September 30, 2004 Author Report Posted September 30, 2004 And yes rob you can have a drive, if you name your first born child after me. Damn, too late. Ok, your 2nd born child. Quote
99 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I do believe that Redwarf Junior's middle name is Peter in Icelandish? Or I could be lying. Peter - that looks, and sounds, AWESSSSOME even for a Toyota Quote
Peter Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Posted October 1, 2004 Well thanks guy's, Mel, give me the little fella's name and I'll talk to my Icelandic friend and get a translation.( even if you are lying ) MMMM, You are yet to become a parent, WANT A DRIVE, (for naming rights of children I mean !!!!).
