ay... i wanna paint my stockies BLACK on my ke30 is there a type of paint can i need to buy?? do i need to prime the wheel before painting..

for awesome job :

get them sandblasted and paint with 1 coat metal etch primer then colour of your choice 2 coats then 2 coats clear.

 

for cheap job:

high pressure clean, 3 coats cheap black spraypaint

 

remember to mask well.

wattyl kill-rust gloss black spray can is cheap and sets hard as it is an epoxy, it will hold up better on wheels than a cheap enamel.

i just painted my stockies white, and cheap EXPORT paint works good to from supercheap lol

Yeah, export paint, just painted the wheels on my ke70 black recently.... looks ok from a distance

My experience with export is that it will wash off if petrol is spilled on it and it fades bad.

vht wheel paint, used in on my 4by rims came out great, and it not dear

yeah i have always used VHT wheel paint and it comes up a treat!

everyone tells me to paint my 12" stockies on my 25 black but I say no because I wanna keep it original lol.

 

How much would it cost to get them sandblasted and painted silver again?
