Got a clutch yesterday for $190. Just need the machining and rego paid for and I'm sweet again.

What clutch did you get mate, If you needed a clutch i woulda got you an exedy one really cheap.

I don't have a job so its on hold, Will start pullng the old engine out and putting the interior back in soon.

I work for Yellow cabs now and working 6 days a week, And the car is at my parants house abd i live with my girlfriend now so i don't see the car much anymore. I have about $5,000 worth of tools now which is good i guess, Still stock piling money and little bits for the car like new brakes/bushes etc.

 

So it will have:

 

Rebuilt high compression engine = Half a tick.

New struts and bushes all round = Tick.

New tires = Tick.

New rotors, Pads and wheel bearings = Get them soonish.

CV shafts = Get them soonish.

And a new sound system = Tick.

 

I also want to get the car painted back to its original red and fit a better front bar but that isnt really a necesity to get it back on the road so meh it can wait a bit.

Heh... Missus got her Tragus done the other day... apparently 3 holes in each ear wasn't enough...

I have another one in my ear now, A bar about 30mm long going threw 2 holes. Got hit by a Subaru today while riding my bike to work. My elbow is a bit lumpy but I'm ok. The prick didnt even stop, No one stopped :dance: oh well.
