7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Des got coconuts? Desmond will recieve no coconut. Nor will Geoff. Des will somehow manage to break his car in an attempt to de-husk it, and I think coconuts are banned in canberra as they remind canberrans of nicer places they could be living, so none for geoff either. However, I am a man of my word, and one lucky punter will be recieving his juicy juicy fruit 'o' the palm very shortly for being the first correct respondant. There's still one awaiting claim... Here is another picture of the interestingly placed power pole, and the street it occupies, as some have found more interesting than the commodore I intended to be the focus of the first picture. Enjoy. Quote
7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Oh and for southern viewers, the grey things in the sky are "rainclouds", the shiny stuff on the road is "water" and the green stuff on the ground is "grass". Quote
JiP Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Oh, that's right. I remember seeing stuff like that when I was a kid. So, back to the main question. I win for mentioning the pole?? Coconut for me?? Quote
7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Aaaaw look, I can tell you REALLY want a coconut, so I'll send you one. But I want something equally obscure in return.... They're actually quite nice cocnuts btw... I'm getting a good 500ml of juice out of each. The flesh is quite sweet too. Trick is to grab them off the tree at the right time. It takes a trained eye to spot a good nut. Quote
Trev Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) It looks as tho they have widened the road and just worked around the pole instead of moving them. Do you mix the juice with pineapple juice, Golden circle pine coconut is nice. Edited November 30, 2007 by Trev Quote
7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Coconut juice, your choice of white spirit (I prefer gin, or good old vodka) Pineapple juice as a mixer, soda water for bubbles, and a quick hit of grenadine. Just add ice, and a beach at sunset. f@$kin' beauuuuuutiful. Quote
JiP Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I could send you some of our lush GREEN grass. There's gotta be some somewhere under one of my cars... Quote

camerondownunder88 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I so want that coconut  I can send randomly picked now in my room: A) Ticket stub from coke live and local 06 tour OR B) A arcade coin from the Arcade at village square at Surfers on the gold coast that I found at Brisbane International Airport on a taxi way as FOD and though it was odd as buggery that it was sitting there. OR C) I can send you 1 GENUINE video shop rental card for network video that I made just before I quit. That says (is rude) "Your mum gave me this card for sex". Has the network logo cover and bar code so you can use it It was made in there card printer so it is a 1 off no other in the world exists. Take you pick. Also the art of finding a coconut isn't it get the village idiot to stand under tree when one falls and hits him if he is knocked out dead cold it is good as it will be full of juice. If he still stands it is a crap one as no juice in side..LOL Heard this is how the medi evil islanders did it..LOL ALSO ANOTHER ADVANCEMENT in the dunny door picture. The gate has on it a sign warning potential robbers ALARMS INSTALLED. BUT half the windows are locked and shut and half are open and unlocked. So easy to break in. And why tell a robber that there are alarms so he knows to disable it first...... Cheers Cameron Quote
camerondownunder88 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Also the updated pole in the road pics now shows us a GARDEN in the middle of the road what next. Quote
7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Also the updated pole in the road pics now shows us a GARDEN in the middle of the road what next. There are small carpark-shaped garden bed/traffic island thingies everywhere. They break up the monotony of countless rows of carparks and provide a pleasant refuge to plant a tree  Also you will notice that the carparks stop about 2-3 metres from the gutter. (note how the pathfinder is parked) This is because if it rains heavily before high tide, the stormwater backs up and your car goes swimming. I will consider your contra-coconut offer... JiP Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I've got something that may interest you. Its worth more than a coconut. It came in the mail today. Can anyone say... KE70 Convertible Brochure?? Quote
