4agze In Ae71

Also note that AW11s came with AFM (Air Flow Metred) engines, be it N/A (Naturally Aspirated) or GZE (Supercharged).

If I was chasing a GZE, I would be getting the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensored version. Can someone confirm for me if 4AGZE MAP engines only came out as smallport? A few I was looking at lastnight were all smallport versions.

Also there is a thread on twincam.org about an AE71 GZE conversion, Click Here that you might find interesting..

Brother go the 20valve supercharged engine, I have just finsihed one myself, in a KE70, if anyone wants a look , I will be putting the pictures of b4 and after, on my site in the next couple of days, anyone that wants to see it in real life organise to meet, and I will give you a look, all up for the whole lot minus intercooler, and brakes it has cost me $10 000, but it will be worth every bit, for next years Jamboree. :insane:

That is too much I am on a strict budget, I can afford to go over a bit, but not a lot.

I've basically made up my mind to go for the 4AGZE, it got some power, I don't want to much, it is only my first car.

wow

Been looking into the Ae101 Half cut - (see pic at bottom)

To what i can find, a descent condition half cut Ae101 goes for about 2700 to 3000 - (yes / no / am i completely off track?)

But the plan is (in this order)..

- Get Ae71 (not Ke70, cannot be F**ed mucking around with finding Ae71 parts to put into Ke70, and all that goes along with it)

- Clean up the Ae71

- Body Work & Interior work up to scratch for road worthy condition

- Talk to blue plate person, get all the know how, whats a yes, and whats a no

- Go out and get the half cut

- Swap over motors using Ae71 drive-line and related stuff for now

- Do the wiring, fuel, breaks and suspension

- Full major service

- Get mechanic / corolla expert to check it all over

- Get it on the road, registered.. everything that comes with that

- Look into stronger drive line accessories down the track

It'll be a 2 year project, and I'm looking forward to it already :insane:
