tojo2 Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Looks great at speed as well. Have you done anything about the non collapsable steering column shaft? Quote
Gavclassic Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Looks great at speed as well. Have you done anything about the non collapsable steering column shaft? Yeh, just make sure i don't slam into anything. One of the hardest things with this car is still trying to make it look reasonably original "period type". I'm not wanting to chop and modify this one too much that it ends up being a Sports Sedan. Quote
tojo2 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Good plan :y: Think colapsable ones are compulsary for trackuse here though. don't know if ke20 shafts would go in.. Agree with keeping it original/period though. Thats what I'm trying to do with my KEs as well Quote
Gavclassic Posted January 19, 2010 Author Report Posted January 19, 2010 Ran Oran Park for the last time a week ago!, car was running great until a ball joint came out! Only did about 5 laps but still won my class and ended up 47th outright from 107 entrants. Quote
camerondownunder88 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Hi, Some nice photos there straight to wall paper :D But when zoomed I notice a air collecting pipe down near drivers side front wheel is this to cool the brakes? Also mre pics of how you mounted it etc and is it on the car 24/7? Also what class is this in with a 7K in it? Cheers Cameron Quote

RollaBus_4agze Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Looks awesome dude ;) I'm a huge fan of this... and so is my old man actually :) Quote
Gavclassic Posted May 26, 2010 Author Report Posted May 26, 2010 Went out and did a Motokhana for the first time. Not something i usually do but it was on the wet skid pan at Eastern Creek so not to tough on the drive train. Came 2nd in class and 3rd outright! Actually had a blast even though it was a low speed event. Was able to take my 7 year old son for a bast at lunch time, he was wrapped!!! Quote
godlovesugly Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 nice one gav, I think I seen your car at an Al Palmers show a couple of years ago... .if its the one I'm thinking of you are a very lucky man. The only corolla I like more than a TE27 is a KE17. Quote
