Chet Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 Hey guys, recently had about $3500 worth of deejay equiptment stolen from a house, not only did they take my dj gear, but a few of my empty bags, and my set of car keys which has my only key for the petrol tank which i keep locked.. now, i have a spare set of keys for the car, but how can i open the petrol tank now?? thanks, Chet Quote

godlovesugly Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 would a KE30 locking cap fit a KE20?? the rubber around the inside of my fuel cap is starting to crack and i can see little bits of fuel that has leaked out onto the side of the car. that shits too expensive to be wasting. Quote

Hiro Protagonist Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Try other keys first, you'd be surprised what might work I managed to lock my keys in the KE55 once, driver's door opened with a key from a SV21 Camry that just happened to be parked next to me. And the keys for the AE82 Twincam that we bought to replace the KE55 managed to open the drivers door on the KE55 as well. And the ignition lock in the AE82 is so rooted that once you get it into ACC, you can turn it with anything from a screwdriver to a bottle opener to your fingernail (if it's strong enough). Quote
