Well made a lil list of things to be done :)...

 

- 5K

- 5 Speed

- Want to keep the center console orig but will have to customize it to take the new 5 speed shifter :D

- White walls

- Lower it all round n get the front sway bar lol... ( feels like a boat up and down the dandy mountains :))

- Fender Mirrors

 

Fix

 

- Wipers! ( lol been fun in the rain with no wipers ;) )

Suggestions of suspension places in Melb that would know their way round the lil sprinter?

If anyone has fender mirrors for it? (there was a really good pair that i missed here on rollclub :D

There were a couple of different styles of mirrors for these. I think the "JDM" cone style (I know that's wrong) everyone fits to KE/TE2x and TA22's look good on these.

 

Not sure if there are any angle differences in the mirror arms between the different models so you may need to be a little careful there

So some progress has been made :)

 

The 5k is in with a 5 speed to match !! :)

 

slowly clearing up that little list made earlier. The sprinter goes surprisingly fast with the 5k. Honestly was not

expecting such an improvement. :D The torque is sooo nice compared to the previous engine :P

 

Things left to do.

 

Complete the center console - I hear a toyota crown clock fits in there? I saw Harvie had done it.. looks clean :D

Fender Mirrors - Below is a photo of the ones i would like. i saw they were on sale on rollaclub before, but havent come

across them recently.

I bought the 5k, rebuild, new pistons, double row timing chain, balanced, the head had work to it.. extractors etc..

and the 6k, its goes higher. Was pleased to see how happy it was to rev :D

 

Thanks Felix for making it that easy for the cops lol.. now they don't even have to go to my build thread.. :(

think they might have bigger fish to fry... i hope. Lets say it was 92kph for my license sake.. (prob was, the speedo is out)

Mate top work on the car. Just a question, are you running an electronic dizzy on that 5k? It appears that your sprinter tacho dash works well and I just wanted to check that's with the elec dizzy or points dizzy.
