T55 Gearbox - Such A Thing?

As the title suggests, "is there such a thing as a T55 gearbox?"

 

The eBay page which has it for auction states that it has a stronger output shaft than the T50 box. For those interested, here is the link to the eBay page:

I had a quick RollaClub and Google search and it didn't come up with anything, so I really think this guy

is leading us on a bit. I could be wrong.

Its probably just a 22 spline T50, as they do have a bigger output spline. :dance:

Will this bolt straight up to my KE70? It has a stock 4k and 4-speed :y:

Unfortunately, the only way that will bolt up is with a K-T bellhousing. :no2:

you need a k50. which uses a clutch cable.

Ihave a k50 that fitted into my early ke30. The catch is the selector inside the box broke one of the rail fork ends off, like a small tip size of the end of a pen. All it needs is dismantle and source that part or have a new one made at a frabrication shop.
