JJT036 Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) Diff has been completely re-assembled and ready to go in, with the Lines and Drums painted up and fitted today. 4.11 gears + 100km/h in 4th (top gear) = less annoyance of high engine revs, so we can't wait to fit it. :) If the revs are still a bit high with the 4.11s, we might look into finding a 5-speed for it. Either way, she needs a new diff under her. 4.11 gears should be fine. Cheers mate. :y: The new 4.11 diff should bring the revs down from 4000rpm+ to around 3700-3800rpm, but I'd still like to have a 5th gear, even though it only brings the revs down 500rpm or so. Also tracked down a KE55 Tailshaft because the one that was in it didn't line up to the Borgy, and the uni's were welded in by the previous owner. :blinks: We also fitted new-er Shocks because the one's in it were rooted. So it's all in, and she's running sweet. No more 4K revving it's tits off at 100km/h. :D Just for a laugh. Been getting some good photos (not bad for phone), and thought I'd share with you's. Coming home from the Melton Tabcorp Car Show. At the top of Jackson's Hill in Sunbury (tried to get a good city shot, but didn't happen). In the sun-light out front of the house. Next to the Joely-Rolla.
