Well... The Bargains just keep comin'... :yes:

 

Today, we scored ourselves a K40 Gearbox and 2 Clutch Cables on eBay for $5.50! Yep, $5.50!

 

We picked them up today in the Ute and they're now in our Garage.

 

First we'll clean the K40 up a little, then it will be used when we drop it in with our new 4K.

Thanks Evan. It's definitely a K40. It Shifts 4 Gears and Reverse. The guy told us it came out of his Ke30 he used to have.

well the one i got looks like its got a long rear extension hosing? not sure. might just be the angle of the pic screwing with my mind

I think it might be that. From what I can see in the Photo, I think I missed 1cm of where the Tailshaft meets up.

Hey Guys,

 

No updates so far, except for taking the Tarp off for a few Minutes to see how the undercoat came up. Looks pretty good and Dad and I are happy with how it came up.

 

Today, we bought ourselves an '84 Ke70 Slant-Front Corolla from "mhmill" on here. We picked it up at The Tyre Factory on Ballarat Rd at 1:30pm and hired a Car Trailer next door to the Tyre Shop where the K-Sev was. We got some help from a few Boys from the Tyre Shop to push it up onto the trailer, then Dad tied it down and off we went. :)

 

It will be Stripped and Josh will sell off the Parts to fund for the Paint for Ollie, and for other Corolla's to Wreck out. :yes:

 

We'll post Pics of it in our Wrecking and Car Parts Ads on Cup Day.

AUTO ke70 diff ratios are 4.3.1 :wink:. You'll want a 4.1.1 as what are found in MANUAL ke70's :y: p.s I the diff is from a sedan. Coils and links.

Dad and I will look into the Ke70 on Cup Day and we'll see what we can strip from it and go from there.
