they're obviously some kind of downdraft on a v8 in a hotrod. not knowing much about downdrafts that aren't aisans, i'd guess i have no idea :D they look like they're on a spacer that goes down to a 4bbl manifold tho, wierd

 

edit: they're not carters are they? you'll come out with something like they're aisans :D

that's a small block chevy engine, those are rochester carbs, probably what came stock on late '50s early '60s pontiacs

that car has some kind of computer control; note the air temp sensor in the rear carb

if not weber, i'd say rochester or possibly carter. very common on all the old school hot rods with flatheads and hemi's.

G`day mate, I`m all but certain that they are Stromberg 97 dual throats. They came standard (One only)on Ford Customline 272 Cubic Inch V8`s from 1951 to 1958. Edlebrock made manifolds to suit twin, triple, quad, six and eight. They were a very popular choice back in the days of ford Zephyrs, early falcons etc for a quick power upgrade.

They are as scarce as the proverbial these days, but they still turn up on old school hotrods.

p.s. If you`re keen on home made injection, have a look at the old holden/valiant strombergs. Up to inch and seven eight, single throat and simples as to work on.
