I'm getting a VL fuel pump for it later on today. Bursons has ordered me a master cylinder for my hydraulic clutch, so i'll pick it up tomorrow. I put the exhaust and tailshaft on today. Yesterday i finally got the gearbox & crossmember in. Also cable tied heaps of the wires in my engine bay. looks alot better. Anyway enough talk, i hope everybody likes it. Tell me what you think. Cheers :no2:
Taz_Rx
Ah that's where Casey's motor went. Best thing I think you can do with the motor is to start saving your pennies for some dyno tuning..... and I'm talking at least $500. I'm sure it'll go really well once thats done though. ...and if it turns out to be less than $500 you can go shopping. :no2:
project_KE55
Yeah i got the 2T i havent put the fuel pump in yet. its been raining too much and our carport/garage thing is still full of junk from my 18th on saturday lol. Tomorrow I'm going to bursons to grab my clutch master cylinder. I got myself a Holden Camira fuel pump, does anyone know if its gravity fednot? Taz_Rx
Do you have the fuel pump mounted on some sort of rubber mount? If its hard mounted to the car it will be noisey as hell. As reg, looking at the first pic: right hand side is fuel in (from pumps) left hand side LOWER goes to the carby left hand side UPPER is the (post butterfly) vacuum/boost refernce and the one out the bottom is the return line, which goes back into the surge or fuel tank. :lolcry: you've even got some of my old Ortach (fuel line). Oh and this might also help you.... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=17418 Edited September 16, 2009 by Taz_Rx

Whoa thanks so much TAZ. Now the regulator makes sense. I'll have to try it out first thing in the morning. i hope everything goes smooth from now on. i can't wait to drive it! Hopefully it goes well. :lovin: Thanks so much for all the help. i might need to ask more questions 1 day lol. (I havent swapped a modified engine into a car before, only standard 4Ks haha) thanks so much once again taz Here is just a random pic
