smeetsy1 Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2009 So i opened up my bonnet to fill up on oil and guess whats in my engine bay... f u c k you gremlin.... I don't know if its because i haven't driven it for a while (have only started it up every week). But it won't idle and it struggles to get any power, feels like it hasn't been tuned forever! It has been tuned around 3 months ago, i did 2 months of solid driving and it was fine, this month i have only turned it over once a week. Could this undo the tuning? The car shakes from 0-1500 revs but when i get it to 2000 rpm it loves it and is feeling smooth. Any suggestions as i am not greatly mechanically minded, i just want this gremlin goooonnnneeeee! Might just be a simple case of fouled plugs from starting and idling but no loaded driving. I have decided to fix this up again until someone buys it. I am doing what i always wanted to - - Put my spings and lowering blocks in - Put the stockies back on - 1" whitewall - Trims rings - Maybe! - Venetian - Put the stock steering wheel on - Hook up the cd player and speakers - Buy a petrol pump for 3t. And then use it as a daily again. I would love to lower it and keep the enkeis on but i'm just plain scared that it will get defected and then be worthless.
