Beams or RS2000 would be great. I agree on keeping the engine fairly light.

Either way you will produce another masterpeice, love your work.

Lol, yeah that sounds likely.

Only a K series engine will do, try a 3KGTZE, 1.2 litre, twin cam, turbo, supercharged !!!, mmmmmmmmmmm!!! Will drop in on the factory engine mounts, bolt up to the 2 speed Toyoglide box, put out about 145 rwkw and about as east to find as tits on a bull !!.

oh yeah the old 3KGTZE!

hey mate . stars here. i saw u in the cross and i was driving the VY black ute. just letting u kno...

ke17 looks good mate.

hey mick, i've done a bit of reading, but there is new gear coming out all the time. when my boy gets a bit older, and if he's into cars, we'll do an electric motor conversion into an old car - so i'll do more research then as the technology will have changed a lot by then (~8-9 years away lol).

that white datto used to get great times even with a stock diff because the torque delivery was so smooth. The datto has had lots of $$$ and many battery/controller upgrades.

I think electric motor conversions are kind of like buying a TV or computer - better, more efficient, more powerful stuff come out every year.

If my electric car happens it will be purely for nostalgic cruising, not drag racing or street racing.

Electric motor conversion would be great, but I'm going to stick with a traditional 4 banger. Its cheaper

Hey Mick. This is pretty cool to see. I would be more than priveleged to actually give a helping if you would want. I would love to make some custom parts for this mad lil' beast.

Some cross-bred inspiration:
