LukeAE71 Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I have been thinking about putting some 13s on my KE70. Something a bit different. They would be something wide and good offset etc I just wondered if anyone has tried it and if they like it or have some pics?? Thanks, Luke Quote
nickyboy Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 theres a pic of a ke70 sprinter, slant front with boss 13s on it, was my inspiration when i had my 13s, best way to get low imo :) i'll try and hunt it down for you! Quote
LukeAE71 Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 Cheers Nick. I was just thinking then though this plan for 13s may not work anyhow not if I want to do a brake upgrade. Not many upgrades are going to fit under a 13" rim. I was thinking something along the lines of the Superlites in 13 x 8 as they have mass proper dish as opposed to the rest of their range. Unfortunately they don't do a 14 in a width or offset I like. Best they do is 14 x 6 :) Quote
nickyboy Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 yeah, your going to limit brake upgrades. i had 13x7 superlights -7 (i think) on my wagon and they sat bout 1.5inch out on the front mmk couldnt find the rolla i wanted, but pretty sure these are 13s and the dude is on here some where Quote
LukeAE71 Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 They make it look like a matchbox car not a real car :) Quote

kiahn Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=25461 ive got 13's on mine with very little dish and i think it looks respectable and not over the top i think 14x7.5 0 offset with slightly stretched tyres are the way to go, twinkytodd had them on his ke70 and they were jizztastic Quote
nickyboy Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 read about it here... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=22467 mmm that looks dope Quote
LukeAE71 Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Posted August 21, 2009 I just got wood ;) Love it ;) Quote
benzo Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I have 13x8 -13 MK2 and 13x8 -7 MK1 which I had on my KE70 with 175/60 tyres Sat so very good, and was by far the best looking and handling car I have owned thus far. ground clearance to crossmember was just under 30mm which was a little inpractical though haha. Guards were just on tyre front and rear, front wheels (-13s)only poked 5mm from my rolled guards with tyre just in, rears were flush (could've done with a 5mm spacer but due to the design of the MK1s it wasn't really possible). Sorry I got no pics handy atm Luke I love that TE71 Nick posted up, needs to be a tad lower though. From memory that dude has an enviable collection of 13s. Cheers, Ben. Quote
mungi mods Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 mine is on 13's at the moment colin cross fevers 13 x 6 +8 with 25mm spacers front and 8 mm spacers rear 1 Quote
smeetsy1 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 colin cross fevers :y: First person I have seen with the same wheels as me :S 1 Quote

Best they do is 14 x 6 :y: 13 x 8 superlights don't have very much dish, their depth is more in the spokes just like the rest of the superlite range. 13 x 7's are the ONLY superlites with dish, full stop.
