Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, but i have a ke30, I'm planning to put a commodore 3.8 v6 on nos into it. i have been looking around on the forum a fair bit and i know what most of you think of them, I'm building this car for burnouts and just to have fun in, not to race around. There are a few things I'm having trouble with, and was wondering if any body could give me a few pointers on how th complete the conversion. i need help with things like engin mounts.

hey guys i wanted some serious advice, I'm not a school kid, and for your information this is a side project, i hapen to have a supercharged 6ltr vz ss, so go blo ur little dicks ova ur turbo 13b... come to a place where ur ment to be able talk to other people about cars and u get shit for ur ideas....

fair enough, wouldnt it be easier to just put nos on a commodore with factory v6 motor and skid that rather than

going to effort of doing a conversion into a rolla, then you can register the commodore and drive it to the burnout pad?

 

its just the effort of putting it into a rolla is so great ( time, money, effort ) that you could do so much better with the resources,

but hey whatever floats your boat...

i want to do the conversion because it is something differnt, i live in sa so ill keep the car regested as is and drive it untill i get defected. as i said i have a commodore that beats 90% of cars on the road. the corolla will be a toy...

Wish i could help mate, pity that anyone wanting to do anything remotely different gets shot down, commo v6 in a rolla would be perfect for what you want it for. I'm guessing if your pretty handt with a welder you could just measure up and cut / weld your own mounts and stuff using a combo of the commo and rolla stuff
